    I’m working on 1250 head lights now I’m going to use led flood lights behind my original glass. And I just bought a 1450 too I call mine Mario and Luigi ha ha thanks for the videos

      @rosstheoliverman  Рік тому

      That would work too, unfortunately my glass was broken.

    And your lights it's one nut on each side of that bracket

    • @rosstheoliverman
      @rosstheoliverman  Рік тому

      Not according to the parts book or the others I’ve seen. There’s a lip welded to the shaft that stops the washer.

    The 3 towns someone has to drive you to and yes the crazy train gos to them too . Crazy , out out my mind and insane . They are close to each other . As for the muffler pipe go to a muffler shop have them make one up . They would have the pipe and bender .

    The tip on grinding on glass is to have water running over where you are grinding. Freddie the Fiat. Being Freddie ends in "ie" it should make it the female side of the name. If it ended in "y" it would be male. Better hurry as harvest is coming and you need to get your combine gone thru.
    Great video as usual and informative to those who have the same lighting problem.

    Ross take a measurement of the cup you may find a cup off other brands of tractors. I have case it maybe the same

    Probably going to pull the sheet metal in causing the light to vibrate pretty good . Or getting the sheet metal out of wack Maybe the jam nut might go on the inside of the sheet metal, between the sheet metal and bracket tightening on the sheet metal which the 3 rd nut against the bracelet

    • @rosstheoliverman
      @rosstheoliverman  Рік тому

      This is the way it’s shown in the parts book. It’s not bolted to the sheet metal, it’s bolted to the brace behind it.

    I did not do any weight reduction on the tractor tho I did try to keep everything lubed. The headlights look fantastic. 😮😮

    Ross you are absolutely correct. Iv been looking for parts for the 1450. I can’t believe parts are next to no existent for these. I wonder why that is? Not even much for after market either. Just blows my mind

    • @rosstheoliverman
      @rosstheoliverman  Рік тому

      They just didn’t make that many.

      The Oliver 1450 was a Fiat-OM 615 painted green. Here in Italy it was a popular tractor in the '60s and there are many of them still working today. But i don't know if there are some changes for the american market.

    Which one has the higher HP, 1450 or the 1365?
    I can't say for Oliver but, I do know for a fact that with the older Fords and Ferguson's, many parts were interchangeable. In fact I remember a few models from both Ford and Fergie's that used a mason jar as the air filter/cleaner/collector. Interesting to see the "modifactions" done on those new lights. Cheers :)

      from what I see on interweb, they're both 55 hp at PTO

    • @rosstheoliverman
      @rosstheoliverman  Рік тому +1

      1450 should be a bigger size, but Hp wise they’re about the same.

    I keep thinking that little tractor you got there looks like an Allis Chalmer a neighbor down the road had. I had to look it up, I didn't know Fiat made tractors for Allis. Turns out they made stuff for a bunch of different companies. Pretty interesting. Thanks for all the videos Ross. I have been busy lately but I'm still watching.

    I hate to say this but the guy you made the trade with didn’t put near the effort if any to the tractor that you got compared to the effort YOU put into the tractor that he got. Your a good guy to make sure things were right, he not so much.

    • @rosstheoliverman
      @rosstheoliverman  Рік тому

      He sent pictures and I knew what shape it was in when he messaged. The one I traded could quit any day as well, they’re both old tractors. I wanted this one so I’m happy.
