Great video! As usual. I think a general weakness in my game is more often than not fencing very late or incompletely. I feel like I am always one or two wood actions behind where I would like to be, so I must not be prioritizing wood grabs enough in like stage 2 and 3 after my first room build.
HI! I'm new to Agricola and I have 3 questions. First, what are your tips for the solo mode? And what deck do you recommend ussing (E, I or K)? And last, What player count you like the most?
I thought he wanted people to ask questions in the comment section, and he would answer them, but only a few questions asked and he didn't even respond to your questions! He shouldn't ask your questions when he's not interested in answering them. It's not like he got a hundred questions. He got just a few
Only way I see is adding up the separate averages from each scoring category, if I do that I get 57.15 (All players = 45.2, Winner's = 51.71). Also how does solo games affect this, not taken into account due to Training Mode?
@@MrTandtrollet If you search in your game history and check the box that says "completed games only" It will show you your score. You can filter some more options, but generally training/solo games will also get factored in if they complete. My average is very easy to see since I only play 4 player agricola games.
@@econseanboardgames Oh, found it, but this will be much lower than my actual average I guess since it includes a bunch of 2p games with concessions were scores are around zero. I guess in you only look at the diff scoring categories and add them up (as described above) that should only include completed games right?
from my experience so far with agricola i came to conclusion that you must be very very strong player who calculates every single detail in order to score more than average score for me as an amateur in agricola this game looks great and sounds great but the actual gameplay is living nightmare ! its nice to have some animals but to grab some you need to build place for them, while building place for animals you realize i better get some food or my workers is going to starve, why i dont have more food because you pay things with food in this game ok i finally have some food and place to store animals and there they are ready for me to grab them but unfortunatelly i cant keep them, the moment i buy animals i must sell those animals for food or my workers are going to starve again ok now i can get some animals but what i am going to do with only one, its going to be wasted action ok lets make one more worker, i spend actions and resources building room and before i could get that extra worker my plans needs to wait because i need to feed my other workers ok i get the new worker, i should now be able to do more things, right ? well actually no ! that worker i just got needs some food too so instead of him bringing me some resources i must give him some or boom negative points at the end of game ! so why i even got him if he only costs me so in this game the more actions you have that many actions you actually dont have ! and through the whole game you are fighting to barely play any of the cards cause if you are going for them then you are not going for the food, and if you are not going for the food then you are in the big trouble because this game wants food from you every single step you make this game is such a huge amount of stress and living nightmare, i am enjoying a lot playing games like la granja in which you dont have to pay coins every three seconds for your farm to just move on without any negative points no mater so many players hate agricola, i never played game which hates you so much and wants you to step back and put your ambitious down into oblivion by forcing you to keep paying with food the whole game constantly when you play some other game after playing agricola you feel like you just escaped prison, you feel huuuuuge relief in order to best describe agricola its like devs wanted for you to have a lot of fun while playing but also they hate you like there is no tomorrow
EconSean......the great philosopher of the 'gric community. 😀
Thanks for posting your Agricola videos on UA-cam.....they are fun to watch.
I Appreciate you making vids just got into the game and it helped a lot

Thank for this video! I changed my thought about Agricola.
This will be a great help to the 'Gric community, thanks Sean!

Where can you see your average score on BGA? alo won't this be lower than it should be due to some games inevitably ending before final scoring?

@@MrTandtrollet Yeah you just have to average your 4 player scores yourself.

for me as an amateur in agricola this game looks great and sounds great but the actual gameplay is living nightmare !
its nice to have some animals but to grab some you need to build place for them, while building place for animals you realize i better get some food or my workers is going to starve, why i dont have more food because you pay things with food in this game
ok i finally have some food and place to store animals and there they are ready for me to grab them but unfortunatelly i cant keep them, the moment i buy animals i must sell those animals for food or my workers are going to starve again
ok now i can get some animals but what i am going to do with only one, its going to be wasted action
ok lets make one more worker, i spend actions and resources building room and before i could get that extra worker my plans needs to wait because i need to feed my other workers
ok i get the new worker, i should now be able to do more things, right ? well actually no ! that worker i just got needs some food too so instead of him bringing me some resources i must give him some or boom negative points at the end of game ! so why i even got him if he only costs me
so in this game the more actions you have that many actions you actually dont have !
and through the whole game you are fighting to barely play any of the cards cause if you are going for them then you are not going for the food, and if you are not going for the food then you are in the big trouble because this game wants food from you every single step you make
this game is such a huge amount of stress and living nightmare, i am enjoying a lot playing games like la granja in which you dont have to pay coins every three seconds for your farm to just move on without any negative points

The answer to all of your problems is "food engine."
