Excellent work! I'm sure your instructional videos are excellent, but I'll let you do all the work! You sure make it look easy, but I never was very good working with my hands.
Hi! I just got into Bible rebinding about a month ago and love it. But I’m struggling a great deal with corners, primarily getting my edge thin enough to work with, and which glue to use. Can you please tell me what sort of glue you are using?
I have a KJV bible which is using paste down liner being glued to its French Morocco leather cover. Recently, I found the paste down liner is starting to go off. What is the best way to repair it?
You can buy Bookbinding glue if you want, or just use white school glue to paste it down. It's basically the same kind of glue. Jade 403 is the best Bookbinding glue available at hollanders. Com
Where do you normally get your leather liners? I’ve heard of some using the same leather for their liner as they do on the cover. What would you recommend?
I usually use a half dollar or a silver dollar size for extended yapp. For regular yapp I use a penny or nickel. Sometimes I use something smaller if the corners of the pages are not rounded
Is that just regular elementary school type glue. I figured gorilla glue or some stronger adhesive would have been used. But if it holds up over the long haul, that's all that matters.
@@TheKahu78 is there a website, with a list of color and material options, where I can place an order to have my 2nd Edition,NASB, Premier Collection, MacArthur Study Bible rebound? It has 3 ribbons but I would like to have 6 as well as a thicker, softer manelli calf skin cover and a larger yap
I saw a rebound on UA-cam that you did for Paul T, Paul Tonka I think is the correct spelling, and I would actually love to have mine done the exact same , black manelli calf skin but with 6 ribbons
Wow!! When I saw you go in with glue & a hammer I gasped, but your corner is gorgeous! I have never seen it done before! Amazing!
Beautiful work

I do give a more extended explanation in my how to video #2
So you use the same template for the liner corners and the cover corners?
