I just made this and it came out so well! Very simple and quick to make and it didn't skimp on any flavor! I have loved bulgogi since I was stationed in Korea and it's awesome to know I can now make it myself! Thanks Aaron and Claire for being so giving!
I thought for sure Claire was going to ask for a beer next.🍺 That was really easy, although most of us don't have Aaron's knife skills. Have a great weekend guys.💚🖤💚🖤
I absolutely love your channel! I never thought I would ever learn how to cook Korean food. Been watching you for a few months, and now I make something from your channel about 1-3 times a week. It’s all very simple, and everyone is so impressed. Do you have a simple recipe for some spicy bbq ribs?
This was sooo good!!! I made it tonight with your recipe for ssamjang, which I can eat on anything!!!! It was so easy and so delicious! I love your channel!
I just Love it how you show us to make all this delicious food , thank you I’m learning a lot now every Tuesday is kimchi soup time for our family but we been trying more dishes ❤🇰🇷🇺🇸❤️
I jst cooked this tonight for my boyfriend and he loved it thank you! I also cooked a spicy pork Bulgolgi with it and it was sooooo good!!!!!! So much love from two very full birds in New Hampshire, United States 🤣🖤
i love making your recipes and then eating them while watching claire eat it too 😊 i had almost the same reaction too, i love how it isn't overly sweet, and the bitterness from the greens really does balance it out
I know this will be good. I first had this dish 40 years ago. A Korean college friend prepared this for us.Later she introduced us to a Korean restaurant. It was called Bulgogi, so of course that is what we ordered. So good!
I’m making this for Supper, tonight! I have the Beef marinading in the ‘Fridge, right now, and already cooked my Rice. I’m so glad to have discovered You, and your amazing, quick and easy Recipes! Your Japchae is truly fantastic… Just an Update… The Beef Bulgogi was Fantastic! Your Marinade really gives it great Flavor!
I love this, makes it super approachable I'm going to give this a try. Since I'm starting out probably a bit more expensive since I also have to get all the sauces... Fortunately, I'm like 4 minutes away from k-town and all their cool super markets.
Another amazing recipe for me to use to impress my Korean boyfriend here in the states ❤ Thanks so much guys, really. He doesn't care for American food. So it's difficult for me to find foods he will eat. He is always so touched when i try to make his favorites ❤❤❤
I made this recipe from your book for my God Daughter, she's a Korean food fan, as I am. I'm continuing to teach her to cook (we started when she was 2yrs old, she's 19yrs now) and she is learning all the time. Kirsty wants to learn Korean dishes, just in case Rowoon drops in 🤭🥰
Thank you for sharing, ive used this to help meal preparation for my lunches, it's so easy to cook up 1kg of meat and serve it over 5 days for lunch, nutritious and tasty. Perfect for those who are looking to bulk and eat great food, thanks again
I have wondered what bulgogi sauce tasted like, mostly my wondering about how spicy it is prevented me from making it with a prepared sauce. I used you recipe and it was soooo goooood!!!! I want it all the time ❤
I just made this dish a couple days ago, and wish I would have watched your video first. I didn't totally mess it up, but I learned enough that next time is gonna be epic! Thanks for your help
This is going to be great. Just got your book yesterday as a B-day gift. Got me a good wok and everything now, I'll be making some more great foods soon. (yes, my typing changed this to the next day and I had to update it again lol)
Luckily the Trader Joe's near me has shaved steak. I've been able to cook up some of your recipes using it. I'm stopping by there tomorrow and getting some so I can make this. It looked so good!😋
I just love you guys 😊❤ thanks for another great recipe….your bulgogi made with ground beef is still one of my family’s favorites, and totally won them over to the idea of Korean food! I’ll have to try this one on them, too!
When you use chicken bouillon podwer or beef stock powder in your recipes, how much of the product would be used for one liter of beef or chicken stock? I’m not able to get the same products as you so I’m wondering if the ones we have here are the same or if I should adjust the amount
You can just add more soy sauce. Of course, that could be lighter or thinner than the oyster sauce, but it will be still delicious and full of umami! Don’t worry! 😁👍
We have 2 versions, the regular one and the one made with ground pork! Please check out these videos! 😁🙌 1. Spicy pork bulgogi : ua-cam.com/video/C36XCVxqVss/v-deo.html 2. Spicy ground pork bulgogi: ua-cam.com/video/mj7S3nvyPM8/v-deo.html
Looks so great! Last time I had bulgogi was at a hybrid Japanese-Korean restaurant near me, that my mom loves. But I find it... disappointing. Their Bulgogi was unevenly sliced, the sauce was bland, and even the rice was sticky and clumpy. I've got some galbijjim (sp?) simmering on my stove right now, which I'm making because short ribs were on sale. I'm excited for that; but, I haven't had a good bulgogi in ages. Maybe it's time to just do it myself, and I will be taking your advice!
Anyone have suggestions for good vegetarian alternatives to make with bulgogi sauce? 🤔 I loooove bulgogi but am trying to eat less meat 🥲 Tofu seems like it just wouldn’t hold up well, and the thin slices are sort of signature for the dish…
Oh my goodness! 🤤 Sanchu 🥬, samjang, garlic, peppers, 🌶️ genyip…oh! 😋 ps~do you have any recipes for spicy marinade for fish? Or any Korean grilled fish recipes? 🙏🏻 😊 🌶️ 🎣
This recipe makes 4 servings and the marinated beef can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days, so you can cook another batch with the remaining ingredients. 😁 (P.S. If you’re cooking for a family, you can cook them all at once. )
Marinade:
2.5 tbsp soy sauce
2.5 tbsp oyster sauce
2.5 tbsp sugar
2.5 mirin
2 tbsp minced garlic
2 teaspoons of sesame oil
pepper
This is my fifth or sixth recipe I've tried from your channel, and my fiance now worships me like a culinary god. SO much appreciated.
Bulgogi and rice was my comfort food. Mom used to make it in a tiny cast iron pan and pour the cooking juices over the rice.
Tell me about it! I also love to make fried rice with leftover bulgogi! 😍
@@AaronandClaire❤❤❤
Bring me a plate please

I'm late to the game but I just made this for dinner tonight. It was amazing! I love your recipes!
I did it and got impressed with the result. Just like the corean restaurant I used to go when lived in Lisbon. Thank you, Aaron. Cheers from Brazil!
So thrilled to hear that. Thanks for sharing! 😁👍
I thought for sure Claire was going to ask for a beer next.🍺 That was really easy, although most of us don't have Aaron's knife skills. Have a great weekend guys.💚🖤💚🖤
I was just about to comment on how impressive his knife skills are! 😂
Besides the easy recipes, I love how Aaron calls "Claire!" at the end. 😆

Claire's a really good food critic 🥰🤗. I really love listening to her describe the food 😊

One of my favorites. Make it often because it's so easy 😊

You’ll never disappoint us with your recipes they are always delicious my family really enjoyed.😊 May God bless you and family.
I made Bulgogi last week with broccoli slaw. Soooo goood. And fast! Rice in the instant pot while I cooked the beef. ❤
Bilgogi!!!! So yummy.

Just made this-spot on perfect
You guys are awesome. Great meal idea. Will certainly try it out.
Hi some recipes I saw online include grated pear, do you think this will improve and enhance the flavor? Thanks!
Made this today and it was perfect!

This was delicious and both my teenage boys loved it!
What would you add in the marinade to make the bulgogi spicy?
Hello! May i ask if ottogi mihyang can be a substitute for mirin?
Love this, I ate it inKorea a lot.
Looks amazing! I just had a rendition of Bulgogi. Of course I make my own style too! But I never tried this incarnation!
Made this tonight it was a hit! Thanks!
Awesome! So glad to hear it! 😁👍
I make your spicy Korean fried chicken often. I'll try this next!
🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩 Thank you once again for video.

The most famous line: " Trust Me " 🙌
Don’ worry ‘bout it
Definitely making this soon.
I can’t wait to make this tonight!!!
Hi, if just marinate for 250grams beef, how much do i need for sauce parts?
Thank you!
I love it. I was teasing my family to make it just yesterday. 😂😂🤣🤣💜💜🙏🙏
i forgot the sesame oil but i followed the rest of the recipe and it still tasted amazing!
It looks so easy! I am going to make this for my boyfriend! 😍😍
What a great husband feeding his "hungry bird" such a delicious meal.
Great Job!
How are you I like your dish.but one question that how beef cook easily .bcz in our country beef take 20 min in pressure cooker to cook
What can be used instead of oyster sauce?
You can just add more soy sauce. Of course, that could be lighter or thinner than the oyster sauce, but it will be still delicious and full of umami! Don’t worry! 😁👍
You can never go wrong with beef 😊
You know this Bulgogi is good by the sound Claire makes at 7:46. 😃
I always like Korean beef with rice.
thanks!
When do you eat the egg?
Wow. Now I'm hungry. Love bulgogi 🫰❤️
Can you make a spicy pork bulgogi version of this? Pleaseeee, it's my SO's favorite.

Please, what type "cut" of beef to ask the butcher ?
Ribeye or tenderloin! 👍

I doubt I could cook this in just 15 minutes. It looks so delicious. I made some kimchi, but the chili flakes aren’t very spicy.
Super video.
Thanks! 😍
Oyster sauce is soooooooo underrated!!!
Does anyone know the purpose of the sugar? This looks so good🤤. Only asking out of curiosity 😅
To balance out the flavors and the sugar works like a flavor enhancer. 😊🙌
Yum!!!!
Love you both. Xx
Thank you, Christina! 🥰🙌
Holy hhit that looks so 🤤 very good health taste ratio I Approved 👍
😍😍😍😆
3 second rule. If you rescue your beef within 3 seconds of dropping it, you can still eat it. Trust me.😅
People normally use rib eye beef
dinner tomorrow!
You are lucky Claire 😂yummy 😘
This turned out really good, and I ain't even a good chef
When she said bring that bad boy here" l was not expecting kimchi..😅
This is awesome!!!!!!!!!!! I’ll make my without any onions!!!!
Please keep the videos coming!!!!!!!!!!
No ginger? I know that is a old receipt, but I am wondering, why there is no ginger in this recipe. Can you please comment on this.
Aaron, could you cook vegetarian or vegan bulgogi for us non meat eaters?
Eek! I’ve been pronouncing it wrong all this time. Thanks for setting me straight! One of my favorite dishes.
Kalbi is my favorite, but bibimbap is a close second.
Bulgogi sauce??? We call that Korean BBQ sauce here in America...And it is very Yummy!
I think Aaron should get in their and wash some dang dishes !!!!
soft Buldaaagzz
Raise your hand if at first you read "Karen Chef" instead of "Korean Chef" 🤣
I wish I could cook eggs like that .
Is Claire part of the video production or does she just get to eat? 😂
Both! 🤣🤣🤣
Your recipe has us chopping up a bunch of veggies, then the recipe calls for half. What did you do with the other half of the veggies?
This recipe makes 4 servings and the marinated beef can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days, so you can cook another batch with the remaining ingredients. 😁 (P.S. If you’re cooking for a family, you can cook them all at once. )
