In my humble opinion, after following this channel for nearly a year and watching every episode at least 3 times, I believe it to be the best sailing channel on UA-cam. Out-freaking-standing! I had rather watch this channel than anything on cable. There are others that I hold in high regard as well, but this is my personal favorite. No TV show has ever had me looking for new episodes like this channel does. Very high production quality and editing and very down-to-earth and approachable people. There is not the slightest hint of "elitist yachties" attitude, which is appealing and obviously due to there being no elitist yachties involved. This channel is inspiring, informative and entertaining. No attempt is made to appear more knowledgeable or skilled than you are and viewers feel like they are learning and gaining experience along side you. DON'T EVER LOSE THAT! It is the magic that makes it work! Well done!
+Craig Sanderson thanks Craig! I'm glad you are enjoying the adventure! I am so excited to share next season with everyone, it is truly the first season because everything up to this point was never intended for a UA-cam channel. Stay tuned!
I can't even imagine how much editing that took to condense a full summer ++ to a 20 minute episode... I'm sure you had at least 200 hours of footage to go through... and the billy the kid part at the beginning was really cool too! looking forward to seeing that on NGC... :)
Made it up to episode 24 amd enjoying very much you guys sailing such a Nice SV. What a beauty! Congratulations. Best regards from Evandro Sathler, Brazil.
I saw you on Sundowner's channel recently. What a great surprise! Love your channel. Was pleasantly surprised with all the boat content on this episode. Thought it was going to be a you all working at day jobs and such. We spent 2013-14 in Mexico on our boat and then I got a cancer diagnosis. That derailed our plans a bit. Currently saving up for another try. Keep up the great work!
Excellent transitions that knit many months of diverse activity into a smooth video! Way to go, no wonder you were tapped to be PD of the Billy the Kid special. Keep the videos coming!
I don't remember hearing you had such experience with filming and to work with Nat Geo, very cool, but that is also why I see the great video photo of your sailing experience. It is good to see the group back together for your next experience. Thank you for sharing.
awesome video guys, you managed to put six month of your life in that short time. amazing. and what a great job you did with his mum's boat, woaw. looking forward to the next one, which I already have a clue of you xmas parties from another boat vlog ;) thanks for sharing and happy new year guys and to your subscribers too. Best from Hong Kong
Holy Crap! Shannon you have lost weight. I had to do a double take on the sundowner video of you guys in San Blas. Looking good guys! Can't wait to see the upcoming videos of the Panama Canal and other adventures. Happy New Year!!!! Love your videos!!!
Great video, I'm only bummed these videos are delayed! Would have loved to meet you guys. Or even help out on the boat and lend a hand since I live in SF.
Awesome that your brother is back, we missed him. This video sure brought the timeline back into more of the present. Just wondering what ever happened to your cooking tips video series and the product test series? they looked like they were great ideas.
Awesome and when you were talking about Christmas I thought it was 2016, so your still a year behind? Well can't wait for the videos as it has been super interesting up till now. Great job guys and hope to see you out on the water.
For the future, all rice comes with weevil larvae in it. The only way to stop it, like 95% effective, is to freeze the entire sack for a few days. It's good practice to freeze all grains you intend to store at room temp though, especially if you purchased them out of the US or EU. Most foreign mills just skip the entire process of weevil egg removal because it is expensive, and most people eat the food immediately.
In most developing countries rice is sold unwashed, they often have eggs already in it (same goes for beans,..) if left too long they will hatch. Most grocery stores sell special rise strainers so that you can clean it before cooking it.
Love your video's!!!We are in Richmond and are going to follow your trail down the coast next fall. I also have a scuba compressor and want to make a cover for it.Did you fiberglass your cover or just paint it?How is the cover attached to the deck? Happy New Year
+theislandpackrat no.... Our videos are now up to DEC.5 2015. Up to this point in our show we where never even considering making it a UA-cam channel but instead a documentary of the entire trip. Even though I'm a pretty fast editor, two episodes a month plus a few other spin offs are my max when full time cruising.
+Dvseire we will go into this more next episode, but long story short, Prism already has a lot of bronze, they will last forever and they are easy to bend and drill
Sailing Vessel Prism . My buddy had one when we were growing up here in Minnesota. I remember getting pulled behind that sled on my downhill skis, he thought it would be funny to chase a fox and I was too scared to let go. Great videos!!
Feel free to hit me up with any insect ID or IPM strategies needed for your travels. Most of the time pesticides can be avoided but not always. Happy to help anytime. Fair winds....
Hi guys, you must be 1 year behind on placing your video's as we just watched another video and your in the san bias islands....? whereas on your video your just putting the boat back in the water before xmas..? we do enjoy your stuff though...keep it up
Look us in the eye, ie look in the lense not at yourself please! You're a professional film maker, you should know better. Sorry, constant camera to you looking at yourself lost me!
+NeonsStyle sorry this throws you off, to he honest I'm more worried of the framing, focus and exposure (which on our cameras are all manual except for the gopro). Stay tuned I think you will like next season on how we shot it.

Great video but you guys sure a pack a lot of work into a short time period!
Happy New Year.
+Dan Whiteford thank you! Happy new year!
Nice work guys. You have a very lenient yard that lets you spray paint in a slip next to other boats. Looks good though.
Great video, I'm only bummed these videos are delayed! Would have loved to meet you guys. Or even help out on the boat and lend a hand since I live in SF.
I saw you I the San blas! Love the video
Awesome that your brother is back, we missed him. This video sure brought the timeline back into more of the present. Just wondering what ever happened to your cooking tips video series and the product test series? they looked like they were great ideas.
+hommie789 well we are now only a year behind vs. Almost two. Prism cooks and reviews are still in production and will be resuming soon. Cheers!
Awesome and when you were talking about Christmas I thought it was 2016, so your still a year behind? Well can't wait for the videos as it has been super interesting up till now. Great job guys and hope to see you out on the water.
My last boat was a Mason 44. Ta Shing built some great yachts.

Salt Lake!!! 801!!!
What made you chose to go with bronze over stainless steel, for your new external chain plates?
+Dvseire we will go into this more next episode, but long story short, Prism already has a lot of bronze, they will last forever and they are easy to bend and drill
After doing the Kiwigrip, do you have any advice for somebody thinking about using it?
What navigation program were you using on your tablet?
Will you guys make sure Sean gets to surf triple overhead Pascuales?
Freeze ice to kill off all eggs and bugs before storage should help out in future
Shannon, which boatyard in the Bay employed you?
Yamaha enticer 250? Or exciter 340?
+TheJessehart05 enticer 250! Good eye!
Sailing Vessel Prism . My buddy had one when we were growing up here in Minnesota. I remember getting pulled behind that sled on my downhill skis, he thought it would be funny to chase a fox and I was too scared to let go. Great videos!!

+Terry Landis tufesa is the company
Wait!!! it snows in CALIFORNIA?????

any links to the billy the kid documentary
You can watch it if you have nat geo on demand it is called "billy the kid new evidence"
You should add that most experts don't believe the photo is real (a real picture of William Bonney). Or at least that there is no evidence that it is.
