Thank you so much sir you're a great teacher! There's a lot of tutorial of this one but you got it on point and show us not so complicated. More power to your channel!
Happy to help. Thank you kindly for your words of encouragement. Let me know if you have any requests for songs or techniques you may be working on...or wanting to work on. Keep playing and learn as much as you can.
its alright if the same thing gets posted twice, because having more perspectives on a subject yields better results, your video is a great help for learning the actual song structure
Dont know if anyone gives a damn but if you guys are stoned like me during the covid times you can stream pretty much all the latest movies and series on instaflixxer. I've been watching with my gf for the last couple of weeks :)
Awesome lesson for beginner like me. I’m still having a hard time following your notes and your finger placements so I have to pause the video a lot. But the pause/play button covers some of your finger location 🤣 Slow and steady. Thank you, good sir!!!!
Awesome! Part of staying relaxed on the fretting hand is that it may be challenging to see those details. I have since figured out how to insert notation and tablature to support the videos. Send me an email if you would like a copy. connors.dn@gmail.com
Great explanation... I had kind of learned this song in terms of notes but it was not sitting right in terms of the rests... Friday night and one watch turned that around. I think it might be the demo with just the click track that really helped. It is a great format. Thanks for taking the time.
I currently live in Michigan. Where are you located? All of my students switched to Zoom lessons in March. A few have come back to in-person, social-distant sessions with masks, but most are doing very well in an on-line format. It has become the new normal.

Thanks for the positive words. I'm not sure which string I slide up on. Part of the reason I do these tutorials is so I can remember how to play them myself. Ha. It's probably the A string.
@@DavidConnorsMusic Thank you for the response..it sounds right sliding up on the A string..I struggle with the simplest part of the song the two open A's and then trying to get down to the G string to play those 2 notes...I know it's. Muscle memory and I have to keep practicing
@@carlosjordan3889 did you get it down? It can be a coordination challenge at first to change fretting positions while your plucking hand is still holding down the rhythm. Once you do it with this song, the next song that requires a similar technique will be much easier to perform.
Thanks for the feedback. The technique is mainly using fingers 1-2-4 (index middle pinky) in a 3 fret range. Finger 3 (ring) is used: 1) To help the pinky 2) when we need to expand to a 4 fret range 3) To play the next note in sequence after finger 4 if the next note is on the same fret, but a different string. (Fret 4 pinky on string 3 followed by ring on string 4) This technique is derived from double bass and helps the fretting hand stay relaxed on a long scale electric bass. Happy to help if you have any more questions.
The best bass guitar tutorial ive ever seen
Very kind.
Good job! I have to learn this for a wedding this weekend and you saved me man! Great break down!
@@henryjasso8048 Excellent. I just had to re-learn it myself (using this video) on the 21st night of September. ;)

Thanks for the lesson, Great job even with the slight flub at the end! I'm practicing right now.

Very helpful lesson, many thanks 👌
Absolutely!
Thanks so much I’m pretty new and this is gonna be the first song that I learn the whole song and I’m looking forward to learning it
Great song to start early with.
1 note at a time
1 measure at a time
1 pattern at a time
Then BOOM, you are playing the whole song.
