This is one of nicest examples of an updated "resto rod" '40 Ford Tudor I've ever seen. Even stayed with the flathead! The car reminds me so much of the one I had in high school from '68 to '70. Mine was also a Tudor, but a Deluxe. My dad bought it for me off of a used car lot in San Antonio, TX(rust free!) which was selling it for the car's owner on a consignment basis, who was an army colonel at Lackland Air Force Base and had given it a cosmetic restoration. It was maroon with an updated 12 volt system and a 265 small block V8 that had come out of a '55 Chevy via a "converter"(I never knew they ever made such an animal!) to the original tranny and rear end. I have such fond memories of that car. I sold it for money for college and don't know whatever happened to it. I'd like to think it's still puttering around like I used to do. Those late '60's were some great years.
Cool green tinted windows all round on a 1940 ford? Had these been newly made and retro fitted? I thought cadillac was first to have tinted glass in 1949.
Reto is always green, you don’t have to make the car from scratch. Beautiful automobile!
Awesome 40 nice update on the car kept it looking sweet.
