Hi Vince and family. Great video to remember cutting down your Christmas tree and setting it up as a family. With the abundance of Evergreen trees there, you have a wide variety to choose from. Love the design of that Snow Master trailer. Great design to have that high hatch to open and lots of storage to transport things easily. It sure held a nice load of the wood to heat your house. The fresh coat of Ice on the trees looked really amazing with the Sun shining down on them. As destructive as Ice can be it sure makes for a beautiful scenery for the video. How far is your nearest neighbor and also how far are you from town to get supplies for living? Looks like you and your wife got plenty of exercise with you climbing the ladder to mount the long boards and your wife carrying all of those bundles of wood. You have a beautiful family and really enjoy your videos.
Very happy to hear you enjoy our videos and thanks for the compliments! Those trailers are very handy. It took us two years before we bought one and once we had, we couldn't believe we waited that long. It's so handy. They're actually snowmobile trailers, but of course, you can transport whatever you like in them. Our nearest neighbour is almost 3km away. There are some summer houses in between, but those people only come for about 2-3 months of the year. They are 1,5km away. You can also go the other direction on our dirt road and then you have the next neighbour 19km away. So you can say we're nicely secluded. Town is about a 30min drive, so really not that far, which is quite nice for dropping off the girls at school. We are getting very fit out here indeed! I lost many kilos this first summer...
I had heard of a guy in Sweden who makes Birch champagne, but I have missed out on Birch syrup. Birch grows like weeds up here, so we'll definitely be looking into that. Thanks for the tip!
Excellent video with beautiful scenes. Your filming truly tells a story. Nice job.
So glad you like it @n3ocl. It's difficult to capture how beautiful it really is, but we got pretty close in this video!
Wat heerlijk om naar te kijken :)
Fijn dat je het zo leuk vind! We zitten hier echt op een prachtige plek!
