All these transmissions look to be a pain in the keester to change and work on. But you got it done so it has more life. Great job. Thanks for the videos.

The pumps in those rear ends are known to let the fluid leak by. Pretty simple system to work on. usually the pump motors get scratches on the faces and cause this issue. usually you can sand the pump faces and get the scratches out and it will work like new. just time consuming to do

Thanks for the info. Yea I’m on the fence about tearing into it or not. I found a vendor online that sells new ones for $400 though I’m not sure it’s the exact same as this one

My trans belt had never been changed on mine. I changed it and it Runs strong. However, I think my fluid is low because it still makes that drowning noise at start off

Hope all is well. I heard by 2024 California where u live no more new gas small engine sales. Sucks man but glad I don't live in California.

Yea it is what it is man. It's probably going to boost the used market on machines as well as repairs to keep them running. Who knows how it will go though. Its going to be a lot for them to try and implement. And most of it is very ambiguous and confusing. They are going to have to identify just what it will affect, I can see it being an issue for Gas powered generators especially which new units would apparently be banned. No idea on ATV and dirtbike engines though.

Thanks for sharing the video. What's the process to bleed the fluid? I just drained and topped off the fluid in the reservoir that's accessible through the vent cap. It still makes a groaning noise starting off. I know I probably need to drain and fill the other compartment next but wanted to test this first. I have a X320 JD

They should self bleed. You are likely low on fluid though this one did that before I filled it made a bunch of noise
