Nope. I tried this before, it doesn't work, because "Hold Propeller Reverse Trust" affects both levers. So when you feather one engine you loose the ability to control the other - it goes to feather as well. There is no way to do an engine out procedure like this, which is the main reason you want feather bindings in the first place. As far as I can tell it's completely impossible to do any other way than with a mouse in the virtual cockpit and it's been like this for two years now.
how hard would it be to just fix the feather controls that are already in the configuration. You shouldnt need to increase or decrease pitch in order to feather @@martinandersson6695
YOU ARE A LEGEND!!! THANK YOU!! Edit: note that because of how the prop reverse hold things works you still can not individually feather props when the other prop lever is full forward... lmk if anyone has a fix
Thank you. I have been trying to get this to work for a long time with no success. I am pleased to say that I now can apply reverse thrust. Thanks, mate. I have subscribed.
Hi I did exactly as you said, but it doesn't work, well it works as you demo it, by having both prop on coarse pitch as if you are about to shut down the engines and feather the props, but did you test it when you need to actually feather a prop in flight after an engine failure and the other prop is set at a high RPM, let's say 1600 RPM. When you want to feather a prop with the other prop on fine pitch, BOTH props will feather, so that doesn't work for feathering only ONE engine after an engine failure. Thanks for your help. Note: The fix I think would be to be able to have the HOLD PROP ON REVERSE option should be separated for BOTH engines, it should be a HOLD PROP ON REVERSE ENGINE 1 and engine 2 separately, but MSFS doesn't offer this option...so what to do?? Thanks
Eu pensei nisso mas ficava difícil apanhar o ecrã e as manetes ao mesmo tempo! O ideal era fazer gravação do video e depois colar o vídeo das manetes por cima, tipo montagem... Mas por enquanto parece trabalho a mais
I'VE tried everything, and not work on my, i dont know why... i did exact same time, same profile you teach, ALWAYS, when i save it, and go back to test, when i test and not work it, i go to optionms again, and check what i put "on release" and it show as "On pressed" i dont know why my MSFS do this, looks like when i save it, he just ignore what i did... thats sucks
try to bring both levers to the minimum, before you cut one of them, only then put one into feather, and then you can put the condition you want on the working engine. i know it is not perfect but is the best i know. and i have a follow up video on the channel where i show it working ua-cam.com/video/atbsxsEqPr8/v-deo.html
Obrigado! (your accent sounds portuguese, like me). (edit: unfortunately, the feathering does not work if we want to feather just one engine but good try).
@@boda09games there are other videos doing the same. But essentially this does not work when the Airplane is in cruise configuration. For after flight and shutdown this works but does not when you are in flight in cruise config. Try it you will see. The point is. Its not correctly simulated yet.
you might be the literal only place to find this info. Good job!
Awesome my man. It worked. I looked for this solution thoroughly and I was lucky I found your vid. Thank you and have a nice flight

Thanks so much this worked perfectly for single engine and twin engined. I have no idea how you managed to work this out!

Thanks for the video. It was doing my head in, now works well. Enjoy your flying.
Thanks brother. Saved me lots of headaches with this one
Did it work for you? I doubt it.
I've only been trying to figure this out since the sim came out! Thank you!
Did you do a video on how to configure reverse thrust?
Brilliant, it works like a charm. Thank you!

yes you are rigth
Yeah this is prolly the best workaround, thanks!
Genius, I knew there had to be a way, thanks so much!
hi, many thanks, but, how i config the trim ruder and trim aleron axis?
i do not use the bravo for that, i use the yoke
Thank you man, ive been looking for this.
very nice, thanks! asobo messed up a bit so when you select on release you have to select on release again because it doesn't save the first time
