A unique thing I love about this game is:
This is a fan game, but it feels more like an actual game
Its too good to be true to be a fangame
and it's about to be overhauled in the next update too so yeah
The craziest thing is that its free when most of us would gladly play for something this good. I can absolutely respect the reason though
because most fangames forget amist putting in all the references that it needs to be game development first and reference second. when kay implements references he makes sure they will make for fun game mechanics first. strip away all the hololive references and holocure is still a solid game. strip away all the references in idol showdown and its still a solid game. a good fan game is one that doesn't NEED the references.
I hope CyYu plays more Holocure. as a fan with many hours on both Vampire Survivors and Holocure, I can say Holocure is definitely worth the time sink and the progression system feels very good. Once you learn each holo girls gimmicks and specialties, each build and each run feels unique and refreshing. its a free to play passion project and you really feel that.
Holocure is so addicting I'm not willing to admit how many hours I have spent playing it xD

Holocure is so fun~~ if you're a Hololive fan, the references go crazy. And even if you aren't a Hololive fan, the game is so polished and fun~~~
not only is this a fun game, but it's still being actively developed. the maker has basically stated they intend to eventually have all hololive vtubers in it

@@delphy2478 Pretty sure the termination itself didn't really have anything to do with it. It's everything she did afterwards. I feel like Kay said something about including all members as long as there was enough information to make a character with them. This only changed when he started teasing the next characters.

I hope this isn't actually a one off. Also, for anyone interested in this game, it's generally best to focus on awakening your main weapon asap instead of filling out weapon slots right away.

also focus on weapons, the faster you kill the faster you level up. defensive stuff you only really need lifesteal and any super item you get
i was about to say there is another game the dev made about hololive but then i realized you meant you hope cy yu plays more and yeah i can agree on that!
I usually play with other weapons turned off. I think it's more fun.
Calli really does benefit from the extra speed. Being able to quickly get in and out of mobs is essential for her weapon and skills.
That and some form of external healing. Nurse's Horn or Uber Sheep if you want to go for that Super Collab.
I really hope CY YU listens to the original from which the BGM was remixed. Its called Suspect, and the original has lyrics, its a fkg banger and if CY YU does Karaoke streams he can even sing it there.

it might be out of your hands but it would be cool if you could do more stuff with Calli as Death Sensei or just in general, I always though it was kind of odd that you never had at least one stream with her, could be interesting to see one with you, her, and monarch.

And a new update is on its way soon! Justice is going to be a ways off. Next update for this is going to be JP 3rd and 4th gen.
I'm pretty sure it's two JP gens being added in the 0.7 update. The teasers so far have shown the war criminal Pekora and the half-elf Flare, and they've stated they're adding a total of 9 characters in the 0.7 update. Hololive Fantasy is the gen that has Flare and Pekora in it, which also would cover the graduated Rushia, but I have no idea if they'll include her or not.
Also showed Noel! And from what I’ve heard, Kay Yu said there would be 9 new characters this update, with one of those 9 being kind of a surprise, and people have taken that to mean the ninth would probably be Coco

why are there always these weirdoes that pull out the: "no controller is better" in a game that requires aiming? the only games i would recommend controller for is games that require multiple multi button inputs or games ported from console
Honestly controller isn’t as big a deal for holocure anymore, but it used to be essential since we had stick aiming but no mouse aiming for a while at the beginning, and so on keyboard your aim was either where you were moving or a direction you had previously moved and then held down the lock aim key since.
The “mouse and” keyboard experience for holocure used to legitimately suck
I understand if it’s a FPS, mouse and keyboard would be easier to aim with. But IMO HoloCure basically plays like a twin-stick shooter and the aiming doesn’t need to be precise. I actually find it harder to aim where I want with a mouse in this game where I’d have to drag it all around, versus just tilting the stick in the general direction.

It just feels old, as this is the latest version that came out August 17, 2023 in honor of Indonesia, with all the bug fixes and other hot-fixes. Kay Yu and his team have been working on a lot, and Kay Yu's been distracted with other paying work as an animator. This game is his labor of love and he refuses to take a single cent for it.

aight i stopped watching, because it was hard to watch someone just actively doing the thing wrong in such a simple game. stop walking away from the thing your trying to hit. only heading in one direction means you get no exp from what you kill, so you stay underleveled . its really not complicated. plus you support the sag-aftra hacks, have zero respect for that self serving nepotistic circle jrk
