I built a 251 with the box pipe provided, 24.5 on the dyno. The box pipe did not really spread the power though, it had more than "enough" and then the "turbo" kicked in at 5.5k ish....well that is a bundle of smiles. 87.5mph on a standard T5 gearbox verified by 2 accurate GPS. Had more to give but I did not....that was scarey! LOL

That’s interesting Dan, on both accounts, I did a 251 a bit ago and the customer ordered the Nordspeed pipe, after a very long wait it’s turned up and now wants to dyno the pipe. I’ll run it up with the box pipe first then the Nordspeed and maybe add some length to it. Personally I’d prefer the box pipe over the Nordspeed after hearing and watching your vid Dan. Great videos by the way, thank you 👍🏻

You can fit these sensor to a Lambretta, but you do get lag on them, if it’s going to blow it will blow as these sensor takes 3-5 second’s to alter the display, but I think Charlie Edmonds says that the temperature will drop slightly and then will blow a hole in the piston, so set up is key and keeping it cool, excellent video as always, the sensor info is in the sticky tuning book I think

Yup, i think their best use is getting your jetting set up on the road... after that, a CHT or EGT would be better for any kind of 'engine alert'.

@@drunkmunkey6969 totally agree I run my RB20 on temp and rpm okay so far, steel weasel cowl and ch cover sealed up sip vape with a pointy bit runs no hotter than 75c
