    I have listened to many and quite varied sleep hypnosis recordings and one thing I found is that, for myself, voice and cadence are critical, and sometimes even the smallest change in tone, timbre, or timing can be the difference between an effective and an ineffective recording. I have a central nervous system disorder as well as an autoimmune disorder and too many other stupid comorbidities along with the primary acute fibromyalgia; nearly constant pain in my joints and every major nerve bundle means sleep can be hard to come by, but after trying EVERY sleeping pill on the market with NO success, I started looking into sleep hypnosis and began my UA-cam search for the perfect channel. My illness has affected my auditory processing to the point where I can suffer physical pain and distress just by hearing a frequency that is "off" or the humming/buzzing of some light fixtures...on bad days, even the voices of my family are like fingernails on a chalkboard. You are the only one I've found whose voice is consistently soothing and reassuring in tone and volume and cadence; you have no idea how amazing it is, after a miserable half a lifetime of suffering from insomnia and NEVER feeling rested, to be able to crawl into bed every night and KNOW that I will be asleep in minutes;when recommending your channel to a friend I had to tell her, in all honesty, that I have no idea what you're talking about in any of your sleep hypnosis videos because I never make it past the first 5-7 minutes before I'm out for the count...and that is nothing short of incredible. You are literally and unequivocally my hero, and I thank God for you every day.
    I don't even have the words to express my gratitude; suffice it to say if you ever need blood, stem cells, bone marrow, a kidney, part of my liver: I'm available.😂😂😂
    No, seriously I mean it...your videos have been my lifesavers. If I can return the favor for you or someone you love, I would donate for you in a heartbeat.

I've been struggling with night terrors due to my PTSD and I have been exhausted for about a week now and was running on empty. Because of your guided sleep hypnosis meditations, especially the new one you made last night, I was finally able to rest.     I do enjoy the positive words you choose, and I do admit to the curiosity, regardless of potentially guided interest.
    So, does the shotgunning of imagery work for striking a chord with a wider audience? Or is it a deliberate link-shifting thing to keep mental focus from growing so accustomed to a scenario that the message is ignored? Does that even matter to your subconscious when “focus” isn’t really the same as conscious awareness?

      Hi there - thanks for listening and also for the questions. Without giving too much away, I write these sessions so that they appeal to as many people as possible. For that reason, I don’t like to have just one image or visualisation. For example, if I talked about floating on a raft, somebody with a fear of water might panic or react badly to that. So with that in mind I mix it up. I also do use the link-shifting to move a narrative forward, and sometimes also as metaphors, which the mind likes. More than anything, though, the language I use and the way the words are arranged are designed primarily to induce sleep. I occasionally will incorporate positive messaging but for sleep videos that is a secondary (although important) factor. Hope that answers your question. Feel free to ask more. Sleep well, Nick

    I lost my left earbud after falling asleep during a previous video. I still cannot find it. So I have to listen with just the right channel. If it does not turn up soon I fear I may need a hypnosis video for abdominal pain.
