25th May 2017, here I am visiting this site again to see where it all began. Dami has become the most popular, most loved and admired performer in Australia. She conquered Eurovision in 2016 by winning the Judges vote by over 100 points. Her "Yesterday Once More" tour was a sold out success with 50 concerts from July 2016 to Mothers Day 2017. I am fortunate to have been to two concerts including the Grand Finale on Mothers Day in Sydney and also met her at a previous "Meet and Greet" after the Port Macquarie concert.
Dami is in demand by leading Fashion Houses to model their gowns and is a constant guest on numerous TV shows and is the most requested performer to sing at major sporting and National events. Dami's Star is rising high in the heavens and she has proved that she is the very best of the best anywhere in the world and will rule the stage for decades to come.

I found Dannii to be a great mentor. She always supported Dami and always tried to push her limits, giving her music that's out of her comfort zone. Sure, Dami had trouble but Dannii always believed in and her and Dami smashed it.
It's amazing how different this performance of Hero is compared to Dami's audition. With this performance, she was self-assured, confident and she commanded the stage. The resonance in her vocal was fantastic, at 4:48 when she sang the word 'sorrow' it just sounded so crisp and resonating. Though I think that was due to the ambience of the studio and sound system. But that just made Dami's voice all the more powerful.

I think the whoe world loves her she opened my eyes at 70 years old to music again I found out what true musical talent is from her singing opera with her mom a famous opera singer and finding her on you tube singing Nella Fantasia with her Mom at the concert center to all he gospel songs and Jazz songs she has written and sung there is no more talented female singer in the world today
