18वीं लोकसभा के पहले सत्र में जोरदार बहस के दौरान नेता प्रतिपक्ष राहुल गांधी के हिंदुओं को लेकर भाषण पर प्रेमचंद अग्रवाल ने कहा कि राहुल गांधी ने लोकसभा में जिस प्रकार से व्यवहार किया, उससे उन्होंने नेता प्रतिपक्ष की गरिमा को तार-तार किया है। उन्होंने कहा कि महामहिम राष्ट्रपति के अभिभाषण के बाद राहुल गांधी की भाषा शैली गैर जिम्मेदाराना रही है। प्रेमचंद अग्रवाल यही नहीं रुके, उन्होंने राहुल गांधी पर हिंदुओं का अपमान करने का आरोप भी लगाया। उन्होंने कहा कि राहुल गांधी ने एक संवैधानिक पद पर रहते हुए भगवान के चित्रों का, हिंदुओं का और सदन की गरिमा का अपमान किया है। यह विचार अनंतकाल से चला आ रहा है। हिंदू समाज इन्हे माफ नही करेगा।
