I enjoyed how you showed how art can impact people from both the artist and the viewer perspective. Upon reflection, I can see how a specific project I have worked on has help me let go of my demons while creating it and continues to help ease my pain when I look at it hanging in my craft room. That's pretty amazing. Thank you for sharing your story and art and encouraging us to, "Sketch it, sketch it, sketch it!"

Yes indeed art is about communicating about life experience - of something that is special and share it with others. You receive, you experience and find a way of expressing it and sharing it, and the sharing is again both a giving and a receiving of life -

Artists don't have a "look" this dude is selling you an image so that you believe in his lies. The dude has no talent but he has connections and is willing to fake it so that others invest time and money in him. This guy is the representation of what art has become.

Ramon Dimas - such cynicism - and negativity - why not let other people play in their own way, it doesn’t hurt you if they call it art, and it benefits them.

I disagree. I wasted three quarters of my life doing art in all mediums. I got two university degrees in fine art until I began doing something practical. I made and designed clothing and learned how to create crocheted clothing. After reading about all the artists that were mentally ill like VAN Gogh or murderers like Caravaggio, I decided to destroy everything I ever created on paper or canvas. The finished projects did nothing besides hang on walls, or in a box. I had deluded myself for years thinking it was worth anything. I believe the very act of making art opens up portions of the brain that cause people to destroy themselves. The next thing I did was to make a huge bonfire of all my art supplies--oil paints, charcoal, enlarger. ,canvas boards. I got a huge sense of relief after everything was destroyed. I started feeling mentally health , less stressed. My depression went away. I related to people better as I was no longer fritters my energy on projects nobody care about or wanted. I have more time and money now and no longer have the urge 'to create art) what pretentious bs. Pictures aren't worth anything. One good photo can be copied and reproduced. Any drawing gets better with CAD. I made my children aware that art was no longer acceptable in our home and paid then every time they destroyed their artwork. Thry were showing signs of mental instability before whenever they drew pictures or painted, so the art had to go

Y se viste como los pendejos que se creen artistas con sus botas de zippers y con manchas de cloro en la ropa. Pinche farse.
