Mid Ohio Double Regional SRF3 7-13-24 -- The Lap One, Turn One Schemozzle

Sorry, still can't make my Smarty Cam footage play nicely with iMovie, so this is the unedited footage -- the green flag drops at 2:39-ish and the carnage starts around 2:45. Lucky for me I was slow on Saturday and therefore wasn't in too much danger of getting caught up in this mess. It took out five cars out of the race, and Jim Libecco (the pole sitter) took an incredible amount of damage and was out for the rest of the weekend. The other four cars were able to make it out the next day, and at least one of them made it out for the enduro about four hours later, which is a pretty good testament to how robust these cars are.
