I can’t seem to work out how to get side volleys higher so they aren’t intercepted on the edge of the box and same with goal kicks

A lot of keepers do it. It’s just a close range thing, as long as you don’t do it for all shots.

You should be able to see it. When punching with the left hand, the keeper swings his arm rather than just jabbing at the ball, therefore losing control. He said something like the ball might spin in your goal, if you do that.

Disgraceful coaching on crossing , no wonder these days keepers can’t catch a ball on crosses … should alway teach a keeper to catch a ball no matter what training drills you teach him
