JT and JB about to accomplish something that KD and Westbrook and so many other duos could never !!! It could get real spooky for the nba now cause JB and JT will finally have that pressure off there backs of winning a title!!!
They'll have the pressure of winning back to back with all the talk of this run being fake due to injury (even though we're smoking the team that can't out of the big bad West led by some 22 year old team in OKC). I swear some team is gonna swing a major trade, like OKC dumping picks or San Antonio getting a legit star to play with Wemby and all of a sudden the Celtics are gonna be the "can they beat X team that didn't exist last year" team. They won't get respect until they 3peat and even then they won't get the respect that they deserve for being like the NBA version of the Tom Brady Patriots going to the connect finals every year and being in like half the finals since drafting the Jays (remember, this is in 3 years after a 3peat I'm imagining).
Difference this year is that they now close for whatever reason. Bobby says defense, but it's not just that. Jrue's savvy and JB's maturity appears to be the difference.
This was a team win. The core of the Jays, White, Jrue, KP, Horford are just too good and they’re all coming g back next season. Props to Hauser and Tillman for stepping up yesterday. But please trade that scrub Pritchard in the offseason 😂
Bobby’s so funny… “I don’t know how you can have Luka over Tatum after this series” Everyone who isn’t a Celtics fan will have Luka well over Tatum for the rest of his career 😂😂
If they win tomorrow, the Boston Celtics will increase their lead over the Los Angeles Lakers 18 to 12 championships (including the the Lakers’ asterisk-ridden *Bubble* championship which many don’t count as a real championship). Some people who don’t understand the sacred relationship between a city and its sports team absurdly try to add the Minnesota Lakers championships to the Los Angeles Lakers.
In the 4th quarter when Dallas went on the 11-0 run (within the 20-2 run where it went from 91-70 to 93-90), it was so ugly and I swear it was 90% Payton Pritchard blowing the game and 10% Tatum forgetting how to basketball. PP took a couple wild shots, was the lead ball handler like he was back in high school, was targeted over and over on defense by Luka and Kyrie just dominating him, and Dallas scored like every time they attacked him. I swear it was the worst 5 minutes of FastPP basketball ever. Then there was Tatum basicaly falling back into "dribble 20 seconds away and get a side step brick from 3 so the clock can get us the win" mode and forgetting how to dribble off anything but his foot. I swear they went into kill the clock (and lose) mode with 11 minutes left in the game and it nearly cost them the biggest game in their careers. They ended the 3rd quarter with Brown and White crushing it to the point that Tillman got a big time 3 capped off with a couple Brown corner 3's. It was a great run led by Brown and White, then Brown went to the bench and Tatum stunk it up with Pritchard. I swear people will look at the stats and say Tatum and Brown has similar impacts, but Tatum was absolute garbage in the 2nd half whereas Brown was solid all game with better stats and better efficiency. The 4th was so ugly that it looked like the Mavs called up the Celtics down 21 and said "hey, we'll lose but could you let is back in it so it doesn't look like such a blowout and we can retain some dignity?" Seriously. It looked like the Celtics wanted Dallas back in the game. Zull pulled Pritchard about 5 minutes too late and he left Tatum without Brown to run the offense through way too long. People been pointing out that Tatum gets doubled and Brown only goes 1v1 so blah blah blah Tatum is the best, but in reality it was Tatum taking single coverage side step bricks while Brown was running through 4 defenders to get to the rim and punish it. Tatum had no flow, couldn't hit anything, missed bunnies, couldn't dribble, turned it over, and played his super slow "let's lose this game" offense he fell in love with that he learned from Kyrie. I love Tatum, he's usually really good, but this playoffs he's really looked like the bad player all the haters talk about. I swear they might be better off this off-season trading him for Banchero and handing the keys to Jaylen. It just baffles me to think that for 7 years we've had an athletic wizard with the ball in his hands be relegated to the corner while they hand it to Tatum who is much better catch and shoot than he is side stepping into 3's. I wish I had a crystal ball that would show me this team if they decided 7 years ago to make Jaylen the priority and make Tatum the de facto #2. I bet they'd be going for a 3peat right now instead of Jaylen just now getting to be good as the #1. They've spent 7 years training a #1 to be a #2 and a #2 to be a #1. I ranted, but I'm pissed at how bad the 4th quarter was and just pissed that none of the coaches for 7 years thought "maybe the wildly athletic firey genius who gets better every month should be the #1 and the quiet guy who broke the record for corner 3pt% his rookie year should maybe stay in the corner and be the #2." The Celtics stunted Jaylen's growth to benefit Tatum and Tatum has only marginally improved since his rookie year, he's the same player but just better at the things he does, unlike Brown who is so good at things he used to never be able to do to the point he's like a whole new player. I'm ranting again! How many of you are with me though? How many of you wish we just made Jaylen the #1 over Tatum 7 years ago? I love them both, but feel like they've been miscast by their coaches.
He needs to flip roles with Brown. How much better have they been since they started giving Brown the ball late in games? How much better have they been since they don't make Brown disappear for 2.5 quarters after putting up 9 of the first 11 points or whatever so Tatum can get his shots up and keep him content?
It’s wierd tatum has had plenty of clutch moments especially in the playoffs most recently in the playoffs was his 15 point 4th quarter vs the sixers in a game 6 elimination game
Tatum' scoring has not been good in this postseason, but he can still improve. He needs to polish his jump shot and learn how to create good shots in that floater/mid-range area. Remember that all time greats like Lebron, Curry, Kobe and so on have also struggled during the playoffs and managed to overcome shortcomings. Tatum has work to do. His defense, rebounding and playmaking have grown a lot this season. All he's missing now is reliable scoring. Brown has been way more efficient in this run and deserves the reconition he's getting
Luka got exposed. Enough of this euro being the best player in the world when Americans like Tatum and Brown made him eat crow three straight games. You have to play both ends to where that crown. And you have to be in shape… you can’t where the same crown Jordan wore and not put Pritchard in the rim two straight times in the post. Stop it. Boston back on top of the league because of Tatum and Brown. Give props to Danny and Brad and this ownership group for believing in those guys.
JT and JB about to accomplish something that KD and Westbrook and so many other duos could never !!! It could get real spooky for the nba now cause JB and JT will finally have that pressure off there backs of winning a title!!!
Kd had a few great duos and didnt make the finals

One more game guys, what a journey this has been, love you all, we deserve this moment
Difference this year is that they now close for whatever reason. Bobby says defense, but it's not just that. Jrue's savvy and JB's maturity appears to be the difference.
I was at the watch party. I saw more hard hats there too. My wife even wanted one!
shop.clnsmedia.com/
Let’s gooooo! Grab them while they’re available. 😅
Luke Kornet could have made it a lot easier game on themselves.
Man I wish I could be there with you guys at the parade I'll be working from Seattle 😭😭😭
1 win away from sealing the deal and Bobby talking about “do we break it up?” Lol that’s why we love ya Bob!
Hard hats. Lunch pales. Steel toe boots. Jimmy, don't screw the timing up on Steel toe boots, I'm trying to say it a long with you...
I know. My brain literally can’t handle it. 😅
I'm sad that I only get to watch my Celtics get 1 more win before I have to look forward to summer league. Jordan Walsh Summer MVP!
This was a team win. The core of the Jays, White, Jrue, KP, Horford are just too good and they’re all coming g back next season. Props to Hauser and Tillman for stepping up yesterday. But please trade that scrub Pritchard in the offseason 😂

Most people don't care about defense at all so of course they choose Luka.
Tatum has more rebounds and assist and only two less points and less efficient, I don’t think is a runaway but he def has the lead
How to get one of those very nice Celtics Hard Hat?
when we got tillman, l told you he was born a celtic and he's gonna be great for us for years.

Banner 18!! Whoever has the better close out game, JT or JB, will get FMVP. Maybe co fmvps?
Gotta be Jaylen. Unless Tatum has a masterclass next game
Off course they’re loud. They practice shouting over race cars 3 fourths of the year
That hard hat is really nice but the color is not quite Celtics green, unless it looks different in person which it probably does.
It’s a bit darker than Celtics green but that’s what we’re working with!! Grab one I promise you’ll be glad you did
John when ur at a game as a media guy are u allowed to cheer at all or is it a big no no?
Sometimes I think Bobby needs to be drug tested...says the stupidest things.
Luke made lemon squares
Masturbation about Jrue Holiday would never end....
Trying to enjoy the moment and Bobby is bringing up trades. Also Tatum isn't the MVP.
Bobby is pissing me off bro
They look like crap. I’d rather see Queta.

Bro just wrote an article
Who hurt you
Dude is right. Pritchard is complete ass 😂
I’m so happy but am I wrong to say that Tatum will never be that clutch player I was hoping he will be??

@marmanjoteta2100 I agree with everything you said brown has been the better player this postseason
If you like to make bets..Always bet against any team Kyrie is on..I made a huge bag through the playoffs 💰
He won the first 3 series so you would've lost being against him.
Noa is better than all these guys.
She’s like a robot though lol don’t think she emotes
We need all of them can’t work by itself
She’s AI
She’s not interested in you sry
Caitlin is my goat
