If I remember correctly the cops at one time had a Satellite Police Office at one of these public housing complexes. There is a satellite Police Station on Hotel Street to help with patrol and response time for officers due to the high crime at evening and nights in the Hotel St area. Officers need a stronger presence at KPT and the other low income housing complexes in the Kalihi and Liliha area, where many gangs are centered.
