❤the narrator was brilliant 👏 . Loved all the different accents and personalities she beautifully brought alive, especially the spa visit, it cracked me up 😂 gorgeous. Could see them sitting around being pampered with the technicians 😂😂😂😊😊
*Spoliers* The story was nice. But... They only knew each other a week and they're already saying I love you and talking about her being his daughter's mom. Right after he just said he can't do that to his daughter. He said, I can't let her think someone is going to be her mom, I can't show affection around her blah blah. Suddenly (like basically the same day) he changes his mind and she's talking about being her mom. I get it, she fell in love with them, BUT, they barely know each other. Things could change and they're rushing the family thing. I am all for falling in love right away, but to act like you're a family in 1 day of deciding to be together just rubbed me the wrong way in the end. It was so contradicting and they really didn't build a relationship.

I have to say one thing I love about this book is that the main characters act like normal people. There weren't 15 chapters going on about how the girl "thinks" he doesn't like her, so she does something stupid that prevents them from being together for another 10 chapters. She wanted him and took action. She made sure he knew it. It was very refreshing!
Love Brook St James books and the narration in all of the are the best by far. I'd love to hear more of her books. PLEASE put more online.
