I excatly followed your steps, but after around 90% of installation was done I was promoted back to my win 7 desktop recieving an error windows that says...... Windows 10 installation has failed..... I retried for 3 more times but each time I get the same msg after very last step.... Please help me and provide the solution.

In that case issue with your current OS, you have to install a new Windows 10 over Windows 7
