The way this arrest has happened, there seem to be many questions. Why BJP sacrificed one their own so easily. In fact they are all out to name and shame this guy. This is first time we have seen a culprit being paraded in front of the public press conference. Is the UP govt trying to earn brownie points out of this situation, or has something gone bad in the relationship this guy with the BJP.?
Of course we know that the police in UP dont act on their own, without the direction of their political masters. This is the same police which refused to file an FIR when they were initially approached. What changed later..?

The only change is this affected the educated upper middle class society. If it was someone from lower strata then they wouldn't care. They always do this. Remember that they supported karni sena during calls for Padmavat ban, but after they threw stones at a school bus carrying children of middle class families, the BJP immediately disowned them.
