I really miss the more raw, seemingly unedited toy hunt videos that made me fall in love with this channel during lockdown in 2020. Basically when it was like 20 mins vids with no b-roll accompanied by stock music. It does give a professional feel to it but what made the MWFP toy hunts unique was that it just felt like a bunch of really long shots back to back. Instead of seeing the entire TMNT shelf for a few seconds I could totally watch Matt talk about it for a few minutes. Even him zooming into random figures with under his breath narration was fun.

I will never understand why toy stores will have items on display but not have them for sale
This place just stacks stuff everywhere; literally barely room to breath and move around in tight quarters. I'm sure they have a fire marshal that absolutely loves them... Anyway, they have such little space that when they are buying or have sold stuff, that stuff just sits on the floor near the counter. I don't think they have any other space or place to do stuff. It's a cool place for sure but will induce claustrophobia for sure. Looking at the video I don't think these were truly on a shelf or displayed for sale; they just don't have anywhere to put them, I assume until the buyer picks them up.
Howdy, I'm the owner of the shop. The TMNT figs Matt wanted were in the process of being purchased. We had a pile of TMNT toys that were brought in before Matt arrived and we were figuring out a price to pay. So, they weren't ours yet to sell
I started a RVD figure collection. Those scalpers made me have to pre-order from Walmart.
I remember those ID4 toys specifically NOT holding up to heat whatsoever. I went on a trip up north with my Mom in California, to see my cousins and her brother/my uncle, and she bought me one at a Target on our way back down. It was totally ruined by being in the car at multiple points in which he could not be posed and couldn't even stand anymore. It was crazy how bad the plastic/rubber composite was for those figures. I'll never forget the floppy disk games though that were "amazing" at the time.

I’ve been to big fun a couple times, it’s a great store! Same thing happened to me though, I saw some older black series clone troopers that I really wanted. I was holding them planning on buying them and then a worker told me to put them down because they weren’t for sale. Sorta strange that they were in reach of customers
We may have been in the process of buying them from someone. That was the situation with the TMNT figs Matt wanted. I'm the owner, btw

if your getting into jurassic park, Hammond Collection for the Dino's especially the Articulated T-rex and Amber collection for the main cast, proper sized action figures, the hammond ones are much smaller but inscale with the Dinos.
