Well, I wasn't convinced that they could do a version to match The Convent Club performance, which in comparison is a very stripped back sound. Sort of a fearful plea. But the orchestration on this performance really does add something, especially the strings. It's warmer and more of a defiant stand. I'm a bit torn. I love the little detail of turning slightly away from the mic so that your volume doesn't overpower. My favorite version of this song is the Grocery on Home live performance for playing the violin like a guitar (such a unique sound!), but this is epic with the orchestra. 🙂
