Balloon fight con scroll, pensaba que los vs eran igual que en la NES. Ya me has dado un motivo para probarlo.
Alot of them are quite different. Ice Climber in arcade for example has some new levels, and even new features like wind effects, and different colored stages later.
I love the Playchoice 10 games, and they run smoothly on the emulator as well. I still can't get the Nintendo Super System games to work yet tho
I once found an obscure Squash game at an arcade around 1998. Not sure the age of the machine. When you played and won after the third round, the crowd in the stands would cheer and applaud and there would be a lady in the forefront with no top on cheering for you and shaking side to side. Was very interesting.
Gaelco's "Squash" It was very popular and common in spain. You can find the original pcb for less than 30 usd ;)
Nintendo's Vs System and Players Choice cabinets are, in my opinion, a cheaper alternative to game rental as it only costs you a quarter or two.
Player's Choice cabinets gave you a time limit of how much you can play for a certain amount of time. Vs System where arcade boards that had slightly modified graphics from the NES counterparts and added features, for instance the winning screen and route screen on Excite Bike and Duck Hunt you can actually shoot the dog.
Donkey Kong Jr, Radar Scope and Space Firebird are my most favorite Nintendo Arcade. And My Favorite VS System Arcade by Nintendo was Super Mario Bros, Hogan's Alley, Soccer and Clu Clu Land.
My favorites are Popeye, Donkey Kong Jr., Punch Out, Donkey Kong

Nintendo made one of the best video games of all time. They are not graphically intensive compared to the standards of the day but still quiet good. There is a reason why their IP is still widely popular to this day.

I still remember when the put a supermario bros arcade in my barrio, for the first time. And i was the first one to play it, in the bar.
Soon you could see up to 6 or 8 kids watching other kids playing

I wish Popeye would have been added on the Nintendo NES Classic even though the Arcade version was a better version than the NES one.

I love Popeye too, wish they could officially rerelease it, (like from Arcade Archives on Switch or something) but licensing issues are in the way.

I didn't realize that Nintendo made so many Galaga and Space Invaders rip-offs. The Sherrif game looks like a rip-off of some other game of which I cannot remember the name.

Well, those came out back when they were just starting to make games. Still, it is quite odd for a company known for it's innovation. Radar Scope is especially bad. Everything about it is just so incredibly generic and boring. Nothing stands out.

Some of these are relatively unknown. I would have really liked Balloon Fight and Ice Climber has I seen them in arcades back in the day. I don't ever remember seeing a Vs. system though.

Nintendo should release a classic arcade collection for 20 bucks on the switch that includes all the games shown in the video.
You get some of these for 20 bucks with a Nintendo switch online subscription
Those are the inferior NES ports. Not the arcade versions.

Some of what you are asking are not Nintendo.
Killer instinct is Rareware, othello and technically Mario kart DX are Namco, Cruis'n USA is Midway. F-zero AX is the only Nintendo developed arcade game you mentioned, and even then the bulk of the work was done by the, now defunct, Amusement Vision branch of Sega iirc.
@@rugalbernstein5913 yes that’s actually true, so if nintendo wants to put those games on their arcade collection, then they have to pay tons of licenses to those companys but that will also beaf up the price of it,ouch.

Nintendo's made some great games over the years, but man...this list is _rough!_ The only decent entries here were things you'd arguably have wanted to just play at home on a NES (Excitebike, Super Mario, Punch Out, Dr. Mario). I mean maybe there were some arcades with a good competitive Dr. Mario scene, and that _absolutely_ would be a great reason to play it in the arcade vs. at home if you didn't have a bunch of skilled friends, but apart from that game in particular it feels like this list just doesn't deliver.
I think 80s arcade games in general were significantly weaker than 90s ones, but if we stick to the 90s these Nintendo arcade games were up against stuff like Robotron, Spy Hunter, After Burner, 720, Final Fight, Outrun, and Gauntlet. Now undeniably Super Mario Bros was more impactful to the game industry as a whole than those arcade games I named, but when it came to arcades _specifically_ Super Mario was fairly irrelevant.

Thats a play 10 machine.I played it every single day in 1987 at the gas station across the street from my house was a dedicated Hogan’s alley machine.. it was based on an original dk cabinet colors..I was privileged my dad bought all 3 donkey Kong arcade machines.. I know them inside and out

I loved all the DK games including 3. It was different, but still a lot of fun. A nice change in the game mechanic to keep things fresh.

When did the definition of arcade change? I grew up in arcades and by that I don't mean that I lived inside of arcade machines. An arcade is an establishment where you go to play arcade games, not the machines themselves. A real old school gamer would know that.
The name "arcade" has been truly bastardized now.
Now you have a ton of places that call themselves an "arcade", but only have gambling machines in them.
