The outpouring of comments basically saying, "OMG!! This is ME!!!". "This is what I want to say!!" is amazing. Especially for an unknown, independent artist. I believe that comment you read is right; somewhere, someone is feeling a bit better about themselves because she not only wrote it, she made a video and exposed herself to the entire internet and stood proud.

I'm gonna keep commenting. I have had a gastric sleeve and a rny surgery. It made me immensely ill and my body is in constant starvation and malnutrition mode. I will Never be small.
Luckily I survived with no such similar feelings BUT I’m in constant anxiety over whether I’m eating enough…, you could probably feed me a single piece of shrimp and I’ll be content on that all day …. I regret my surgery … I’m actually wondering if you can undo it!
You know what’s also the weirdest thing? Having a fellow girl praise me for not “caring about looks”. I mean it’s one thing to have your romantic preferences, but to be praised just for giving another human being kindness, acceptance, and friendship? What kind of fucked up world where the bar for human decency is so low that I get praised for not mistreating a human being due to being bigger or smaller than me….
Honestly they hate us…they hate us so much that these surgeries are yet another torture 😭 please continue to speak out 🙏 for the girlies whom they haven’t gotten to yet.

Today I read a comment from a 70 year old : I’ve been skinny all my life and I eat all the food yall deem unhealthy, I have yet to experience disease As someone who has lost inches and put more muscle on her body this is a tremendous comfort! Because I know even when I’m treating myself right I have a negative voice in my head that says I will die early just because I dared to eat a fried food ! To me eating healthy these days just means eat more grilled chicken and vegetables and learn not to eat 12 Krispy Kreme’s in a row. YOU DO NOT HAVE TO BE PERFECT!
