My coach has a drill where all we do is backpedal around the court and I’m the fastest at it, but seeing the crossing technique, I realized that I can go so much faster.
I just figured out how i was setting wrong: i was sitting on the toilet and just setting and suddenly my hands weren’t making much noise anymore. I want to be a setter. I am so happy that i have improved
thx i play volleyball so this is very helpfull and at volleyball in my school theres something called popcorn and i need help with that so can you make a video of that plz and thank you
@@kiankyars Actually you're meant to either set at the apex of the jump or a split second as you're falling. See Coach Donny's explanation: ua-cam.com/video/mtWZCggcxtE/v-deo.html
@@Itsumango watch what the best setters do, not what people say/preach. Jump setting should be on the way up right before the apex not on the way down. On the way down you're basically negating all the positive inertia your body is giving you for force, so you will have to use more of your arms and hands for power instead of control... same exact principles apply in basketball shooting, you won't see anyone deliberately shooting the ball after the apex on their way down.
Really needed this thanks, I plan on trying to be the starting setter for my school team

Her Jump set is bad you have to set a bit before or at the apex of your Jump not when you are falling down
