Actually it's every mom's nightmare to outlive a child. But only if you're the kind with a moral conscience. And who ever said Lois was that kind of mom?
I as a historian, am often asked if I can avoid the recent history and how it will turn out for 7th December 1941. My answer is the First World War. Without the First World War there would be no Russian Revolution, World War II, massacres, Freezing War. And that does not include the millions of people who have died in wars. After the end of the Napoleonic War in 1815, Europe experienced periods. The prosperity brought about by the Industrial Revolution led to rapid advances in science, medicine, art, and political philosophy. The future of civilization has never been so bright. Suddenly everyone was beaten. Burned in Poland in 1914 on Sarajevo Street in Bosnia. Serbian patriots assassinate Archduke Franz Ferdinand, successor to the Austro-Hungarian Empire. This should be the saddest footnote in history. Instead, the day changed. Austria-Hungary declares war on Serbia in response to Archduke's assassination but before taking such a big step, he called for and blessed its strong alliance with Germany. Serbia knew it had no protein against Austria-Hungry and called on Russian allies to defend it. Russia agreed. Russia enlisted the help of France in the war effort to strengthen its position. France, which always had doubts, agreed. Germany then took the first steps to get France out of the war. The German commander, who had long been planning the war, arrived in France via a neutral Belgian. This led to Britain joining France against Germany. Suddenly the whole continent was engulfed in flames of war. The main character is German. Their strategy was to conquer Belgium and France and capture Paris before France had time to respond. This is a project called a loop named after the German governor who created it. During the French Revolution, they turned their attention to Russia. Germany believed that this would be appropriate for a former German leader, Wilhelm II. Emperor Wilhelm, who was forcibly gagged from 1888 to 1918, was a happy, gentle, and ruthless man. In 1914 he believed that Germany should rule only Europe, but the whole world. If this project is successful, Germany will succeed. but it's okay. Britain and France had strong opposition in the West, while Russia did the same in the East. The round losses were acute and dramatic.
I wouldn't say WW1 was the end of a peaceful 19th century in Europe. There were numerous Revolutions and Independence Wars over that period (Italy, Belgium, Greece) as well as a few Civil Wars (3 for Spain alone) and all of that is overshadowed by two big ones: the Crimea War and the French-Prussian War.
Pearl harbour wouldn't have happened if the US hadn't illegally annexed Hawaii. Maybe the Japanese people would've attacked somewhere else or not at all because maybe the distance to mainland US would've been to big for them. Idk. What I know is that the US illegally took over Hawaii.
I can't blame Joe, that sounds like it would be really costly and difficult for the wedding guests especially during the Great Depression
And also the same day than the attack on Pearl Harbor
Ah yes the good ol' December 7th 1941, definitely nothing important happened on that day
What happened?
@@RANDOM-KNIGHT145 The attack on Pearl Harbor

Oh nah 😳😅
Of course its a whole weekend, Joe. It's not like Trisha is going to crash the wedding.
Diane, I'm sitting here in a Mitsubishi A6M Zero fighter jet en route to Hawaii, and am about to bring glory to the Empire.
Lol
Plus the voyage on a liner and oh
It’s at least 4 days
“You get to continue to outlive her, which is every mom’s dream.” 😂
Only the bad ones. Some mothers would rather kill themselves than outlive their own kids.

I'm guessing Mac Bookpro will have gotten her pearls on that day.
One of the best modern episode of family guy
Classic Joe Swanson.

Seamus save them but Peter got all the credits
The date lol 😂
