He does get a lot of CS, but what he's really good at is using the pressure he generates from the waves to find opportunities for impactful plays. He's not just a farm bot as he knows when fighting with his team or setting up vision for an objective will be more impactful than a few more CS. Plus, a lot of his big CS numbers come from him being a force in the side lines that no one wants to contest because his 1v1 mechanics are so clean.
Feel like the thing with Sylas for pros is that he can minimize basically every relevant matchup in pro play. Even stuff like Vex is not horrible, probably 55-45 in Vex favour but Sylas still has teamfight value. His real counters are AD bruisers but ain't no pros playing that in midlane

why did his kennen r stun, isn't the stun in kennen's passive? the r itself shouldn't stun. For example a stolen brand r wouldn't burn the target because the burn is on brand's passive
Prioritizing farm over roaming is a coinflip too. Coin flipping that you're team doesn't feed. Especially in lower elo where feeding gets out of hand. Going 0-0-0 in with good cs in diamond works, doing the same in low elo is not consistent.
That highly depends on your team comp and what champion you play imo. A lot of the time going into the side lane and pressuring objectives like a tower or an inhib will often confuse low elo teams a lot because they just don't know how to deal with that, so they may suddenly stop a fight to begin to recall and because it's soloq it may not just be one recalling, but 2-3 of them, and suddenly you created a huge numbers advantage for your team. If you're big enough, they may even try to send their entire team after you because they can't stop you 1v1. You got entire champions based around that one style of gameplay, usually top laners like Illaoi or Nasus. If your team can't win team fights you being there may not always be enough to turn it around because low elo players also don't know how to properly team fight, they may not know their champion well and they will not know what role their champion is supposed to play in that particular game. It could also be a team comp thing. Maybe you got a non-scaling jungler like Elise, Draven and Pyke bot and Vex mid, vs something like Renekton top, Master Yi jungle, Lux mid, MF and Morgana bot. It's going to be incredibly difficult for your team to team fight fairly front to back vs something like that. In those situations it may even be better to try to force the enemy to team fight as little as possible by split pushing as much as you can, because it enables your team to do what it's best at, which is making isolated picks. You can't control if your team is going to win a team fight in low elo because even if you are omega fed it may not make a difference if the enemy team is also omega fed (just look at Chovy dying at dragon in this game in a 1v3 situation because he was probably limit testing to see if he could do it or not), but you can control what happens in the side lane by putting pressure there.

Sylas gets enough mana to use 6 abilities give or take a couple casts. He’s not broken just because his cooldowns are low, his mana cost ratios are some of the highest in game. You beat sylas when you dodge out on a few Qs or E2s and he can no longer cast enough spells to kill you. The reason chovvy and other pro’s make him look so powerful is that they miss 2-3 abilities per back, tops, whereas you and the rest of us miss 5+ and can’t utilize his damage fully except on occasion. Chovy CS BatChest
Sylas is favorited by rito for some reason, champ deserves 3 back to back nerfs
poor auto filled mid lane stood no chance
I am a youtuber and thats what I say. Brilliant.
lol still laughing at T1 comment. I do think Chovy is slightly overhyped by midbeast however. Showmaker > Chovy imho
CHOVY CS POGo
Why did the kennen have no items level 1???
so he can have an early gold lead over chovy... c'mon man, this is basic knowledge.
Cause he was griefing
Tyler1 dopa downed him
Mate shoemaker outplayed him but his team is just much worse
Mr beast the league of legends is too loud
Why does he throw the E2 at nothing all the time? I don't play Sylas lol am I missing something?
Its to stack up/ refresh timer for sylas passive without messing the wave/being up and getting harrassed
keep passive up
Why do you always put in more capitalized letters in your title than kill participation per game..
Yes, play your first 20 on sylas in normals people, just like how bigddrew played his first 10 Kaisa games in normals, act like your mentors pls boys
extremely over hyped doesnt mean hes not good. considering gen g has yet to gap a team other than the low tier teams at world says it all.
also his team was winning every lane. hardly a carry. stg chovy fan boys need to chill
it was a reverse sweap only because EDG were very lucky, the second game should have been won by DRX, inihb respawning just before DEFT last auto attack was unfair as fuck so normaly DRX should have won 3-1
DRX won 4-1 to me, lol
well this vid didnt age well.
PLEASE stop these clickbait titles beast, its not even 200 cs lead its like 150
Im thinking the winner of T1 vs JDG wins the whole thing
Totally agree with this one
@@jehoons2001 Oh boy people are gonna be upset when GenG wins it all xD
@@IceDemonPT well, he already has a 50% chance of being right. let him have it 😂😂😂
@@IceDemonPT what? They both looked better than Gen did in the quarters lol. I thought JDG or Gen was going to win before watching how well T1 was playing and Gen under performing. Idrc who wins lmao. Not everyone has their life invested so stop being some weird projecting femboy
@@CoffeeMonster01 what? Math that hard to you? In what world is that a 50% probability? Bro what happened having social skills. Are you that much of a genetic reject?
Apart from the fact Chovy farmed perfectly with a pretty hard to farm champion I can hardly believe that this Kennen is above plat at least. How can you even get 45cs at 10mins on a melee vs ranged matchup with a champion who has stun + escape playing into the short midlane...he cant even die in that lane..just farm it lmao
That's the theory, then Chovy manage the wave and you are fucked. That Kennen is challenger 💀
Let’s not mention that he didn’t even buy first item
Most overrated pro player, he just farms
Dislike for clicbait it was a 150 minions plus
1:47 No one is asking you that because you don't even play Sylas, LOL
