hi nick keep up the vids
nick you should get a better cameraman, he is not showing the depth of the frat boys when they squat.
It pays to stay fit and it pays to promote scam (Established Titles)
How can i increast weight in squat and deadlift?
Sterling doing every squat like he’s just casually picking something up from the floor
kudos to mike for his size to strength ratio tho.
I wanted to see their pr…. Sterling could’ve gone much more
@@Jeffdachefz And great form too.
@@karangambhir4737 it looks like he does 400 for reps 😂
His smile was bigger than the weight he squatted
10:11 Love how Sterling and Mike were instantly onboard for 400 pounds. “Load it up” haha
that Mike bloke moving some impressive weight for his size, very surprised at how easy he made that look
@@NineLives9 yeah Mike is a fuckin horse for sure
@@NineLives9 word his for was super clean I need some tips my form is trash
Lmaooo godd dangg thats a strong frat, 2 brothers squatting 400 easily and 9 of em squat 300
@@NineLives9 ya man. looks like pro athlete genetics to me.
Sterling could’ve gone for 600 lbs the dude is strong af
Like an ox! I didnt really see him struggling
Well, 500 anyway.
Not really, dudes weak.
@@GokuTheGreat3441 ??
@@GokuTheGreat3441 care to show us your lifts, Mr strong?
I loved Mike's form, I think it was impeccable
fr Mike is a W
Mike brought the Abercrombie model energy
Sterling with the front squat with such ease is a power move!
Sterling really flexed on all of them. 250 front went up like an empty bar.
But Mike and Sterling looked like they were warming up all the way up to 350.
he weighs like 300lbs. not that impressive to squat below or your bw
@@nickcarreon2601 exactly. Mass moves mass
@@nickcarreon2601 that’s just what guys who squat two plates say
@@petrinafilip96 He didn't flex on all of them, he bounced on all of them to no depth, and wouldn't have gotten a rep given in a competition.
A few of these kids were really great lifters. That kid Mike REALLY stood out, great job guys and nice to see them encourage each other.
Yeah, some of them gotta be into powerlifting or atleast active football players at college level (I mean, it's a frat house afterall). You can see that guys like Mike and Sterling are very experienced lifters.
Mike is an absolute beast for his size, mad respect.
Mike easily had the best form. By far the most impressive pound for pound as well
Not as impressive as sterling tho
@@amg3880sterling is way heavier so he has much more potential to lift more weight. Therefore not as impressive. Mike hits optimal depth on every rep where sterling leaves a few degrees out there.
@@brendannole110 he hit 90 degrees minimum.
@@brendannole110 sterling could’ve definitely squated 600lbs+
@@amg3880 dudes 300 pounds. He hit good depth but Mike better. Like I said “pound for pound” more impressive.
Sterling an absolute UNIT 🤣
“Yelling in frat”
That’s a good comedic touch right there.
Mike was the most impressive, smaller guy but really strong
agreed, his legs are on the smaller side too so that's what shocked me the most about his lifts tbh.
@@futurekillerful CNS for strength, man. But more muscle available for muscle recruitment? Even better. Plus the energy in the fat as mass and carbs play a role.
Shorter legs tho so that ca help with squatting. Asians are generally shorter and they are some of the best in Olympic lifting
@@streettravelxxi you mean east asians right
@@scapedrag7893 don't matter, asians are generally shorter
Abram was going perfectly deep with the squat, he would have got more if he moved it like Sterling. Also kudos to mike, he was going perfectly deep with that too. Amazing.
He was going way down because the weight was too heavy for him.
@@timetraveler_0 if it was too heavy for him he wouldn't have been able to lift it back up lmao
@@bithon5242 you obviously dont know anything about lifting lmao.
@@bithon5242 to elaborate on my comment, just because you can pick it up, walk it out, and get one rep with it doesnt mean you are ready for that weight.
The amount of risk you put into injury when moving weights you are not ready for is legit over 3 times that of the average workout.
Theres a difference between stuggling with heavy weight an just shitting the bed when it comes to form.
If your form is not in control, and you cannot control the lift, you are not ready for that weight, regardless of if you can get it back up or not.
Its like the difference between being strong enough to pick up and hold a great sword, vs the strength it takes to wield it effectively for hours on end.
And thats all not even to mention the fact, that if it is not a weight you can consistently reach within 10 lbs of then it is definitely too heavy for you.
It doesnt matter if you squat 360 in your friends garage without any documentation i you can only hit 300 on competition day.
Be realistic about your strength, the only person you are lying to is yourself.
@@zukoHD you’re correct, I hurt my rotator going for a 335 bench about a week right after doing a 315 for a struggle but clean rep. This was a couple years back and my shoulder has never been the same since. I stay under 275 bench just because of that injury. I don’t go super heavy anymore at all. I stick to the 6-8 rep range as the heaviest I’ll go.
I love this Frat Boys series
me too! So much fun to shoot
@@nicksymmonds How about a sorority (women's college athletes maybe) challenge? Scale it somehow 🤷♂️
@@nicksymmonds loads of respect to u for looking at your comments

Thanks Nick for motivating me to try and get stronger ! I know it is nothing compared to these strapping guys, but as a 64 year old I am up to 12 pushups and 25 situps. Love your positive attitude and pushing people to do better !
Keep working sir
Thats amazing, never met someone your age that can do a pushup. Kudos to u. Keep it up.
Good work Oliver! Add some pull-ups and you’ll add some youth to your spine
I'm 56 myself, been lifting since 14, but kinda lose motivation sometimes. Very cool to hear someone sticking with it. Congrats!
Keep it up mate, I am 38yr old but intend to be training the rest of my life, movement is medicine.
9:03. I love how Bennett is literally just Jesse James West, but taller. They look, sound, and act exactly the same.
Dude I really thought that was Jesse for almost the whole video.
Fax I was like bro that’s Jesse 😂
Makes me wonder. These types of videos smells of Hollywood.
love how they bring out the squat rack with safety bars and then proceed to instead squat without them
Yeah and in a couple instances they almost smash the spotters feet when dumping the weight and snap their own backs and knees from ego lifting with bad form, and then they continue to squat 350+ outside during the rain on a wet surface. Lol
Probably should have a higher safety standard for these types of videos. I’d imagine if someone gets injured or dies they could sue for all the medical expenses.
Yeah I was wondering how much that messed with their setups.
Not only that but doing it so they have to re-rack backwards.
I want to know Sterling’s PR, he didn’t look like he even broke a sweat 😅
550 prolly
Yea I was gonna guess 550 too for a guy of his build
750 he's my friend!
Dude weights over 250 and he didn’t struggle with 400 so according to my gym math he strong af and can prolly lift 525+
@Emperor and your my son!
Sterling made 2 big power moves lol, the front squat and the instant "load it up" him and Mike are a different breed!
Sterling and Mike are seriously impressive. And shoutout to Bennett for the grinder!
Sterling is like 300 pounds. 400 pounds is not that impressive for a man his size.
A squat isn’t like a bench, if he weights 300 and squating an additional 400, that’s like 600-700lbs he’s moving
@@Oreoboy101 Yes, but strength ratio is still much less. You don't count his weight as the weight he squatting you count his weight vs weight lifted.
@@Oreoboy101 the more body weight, fat or muscle, you have then you will move more weight. Doesn’t matter if it is a squat or bench mass moves mass.
@@connorhall8463 You gain leverage from having more mass but you are also moving more mass just with a body weight squat. It is still impressive. Plus from the looks of it he could probably do 550 or something, at minimum 500. 200 ish lbs more than your body weight is solid on squat imo.
Dude, Sterling is a MACHINE. All of his lifts looked so clean.
bring these guys back! would've loved to see sterling and mike keep going absolute beasts
To be fair Mike was like 25 pounds tops from failing. Sterling on the other hand looked like he had 100 pounds more in him.

Hello! I’m a huge fan
Mike, Bennett, Josh and Sterling those guys are something else 🔥🔥
mike and sterling the only strong ones. Everyone else is weak. If you can't squat 405 you aint strong
Now I’m curious to see how much sterling can lift! You’ve got to get him back for another video 💪🏼😁
I feel like Sterling might be the strongest squatter you've ever had on the channel? Seems like he's in the 600+ range? That 400 looked like he could get 10+ reps easy
Thanks nick for always putting a smile on my face , love all your videos
Nick I got so pumped watching this one! Seeing you hit the 350 and seeing how strong some of these young dudes are! Crazy!!
Bennet literally looked like Jesse James West, he even had the cross earing lol. He was mad strong too! Great video, these frat boys mad strong fr
Videos like this are great. It shows more realistic strength. Not everyone can put out elite powerlifting numbers. Even in a gym environment, you don't see people squatting four wheels as often as people would think. Some videos and internet trolls would like you to think that's a warm up weight. It's just not like that, except in places that cater to the hard cores.
Even this video - it was only the top 12 guys - it is still picking a small sample of the stronger guys
@@steverapos3904 in a frat house, you're going to expect a few lifters. That's why more competitive videos are going to happen at places like this. The likelihood of at least some competition is there. If he went to Denny's during early bird special hours, this would be quite the different video.
Now that I think of it, a pill bottle opening competition with grouchy seniors would be pretty funny.
tbh, anyone that cared to lift should be able to do a 300lb squat - it's achievable for pretty much any male with 3 months work. Even 350-400 is pretty doable in 6 months for most males.
The fact of the matter is training the squat properly is not something most people either know or care to do.
@@jordanb722 350-400 in 6 months? That’s no realistic for 99.999% of people. If they have no squatting or lifting experience at all, that is not obtainable for most. People starting at 300lb body weight or people that are just insane freaks could get it but majority would not. It took me 6 months to hit 315 and I got some pretty insane strength genetics for squat and deadlift. This was back in high school my senior year.
@@jordanb722 I've been lifting for 5-6 years or so and not been able to hit 300lb, I've only been able to 1RM 225.
Whoa! I didn't expect Mike to be that strong 🤯 With that depth too. Bravo 👏

Nick! I love these videos man, they are the best. I love seeing people push past their mental limits not realizing what they are capable of!
That Mike guy is really strong compared to his size.
Sterling and Mike going head to head for an extra $200 would be worth seeing. Sterling appeared to do all of them effortlessly.
I cannot tell how much this videos motivate me. I love to watch how you motivate these people
Another amazing video as always! Thank you for the upload!
Nick, you always walk out to far wasting energy! Improve your technique so that it is literally just two small steps ~8 inches at most away from the rack. Also, even though it is for a video, squat inside the rack how it is designed for. Teach people how to do it properly and safely. Sometimes crazy things happen, people pass-out, etc, and doing it inside the rack with the safeties prevents worsening/serious injury from the weight falling on you in weird ways.
Thank you for the advice!
I thought the same thing. An injury waiting to happen. No safety bars, and wet surface.
Some of their stances scared the shit out of me lol. Knees bending inwards lookin like they’re gonna snap 😭
This was so much fun to watch. just the right motivational video before i hit the gym! Thanks!
Nice job everyone! Love that you kept the whole experience very positive....keep up the great work!
Seriously love the flow of all the recent uploads. Just been getting cleaner and cleaner. You and your team are killing it 🔥
The squat form these guys have is phenomenal. Thought this is gonna be a real snap city video.. turned into a real competition! Impressive!
Bro what, some of these were atrocious. Half depth, shins at 45° angles, hips shooting out, doubled over in a high bar position, just to name a few
Such a good video! loved it Nick
I love squatting heavy. That's my favorite. The destroyed leg feeling and blood rush to the head.
Once sterling did that front squat you knew it was over for Nick
Mike def looks like he did some powerlifting, the way he wedges up to the bar, the walkout and sits in depth is nice
So badass ! Paying people to reach their PRs !!!! Inspiring people to believe in themselves !!! You my dude are a true inspiration
I'll tell you honestly, I discovered this channel more than 2 months ago and I normally fall in love with these videos even though I have little to do with fitness, I watched all the videos because it turned me on so much, keep making such cool videos greetings from a viewer from Poland.
Sterling looked like he had at least another 100lbs in reserve.

A technical note though - I know it's probably so you can get people's faces on camera, but you always face the wrong way when you're squatting in your videos! Doesn't it make it really hard to rack the bar afterwards when you have to walk backwards?
