Mine was an 83 tan with a brown interior. 231/turbo 350. My second car was an 87 Supreme Brougham 350/turbo400. Biggest mistake of my life was getting rid of those cars.

I was legit impressed with the opening monologue. That museum is awesome! That guy (the owner) must be single. A wife would never let you buy that many cars.
It's nice to see a Hurst/Olds 15 Anniversery Edition restomodded. You guys gave it the preformance it always deserved. Out went the H.O. 307 cafe motor in went the 455!
@@Carl_Jr Thanks. But that makes it 15.44, about 2 1/2 seconds slower than expected with that drivetrain and horsepower on slicks. Something ain't happy.

This is my favorite build you guys have done. I used to have a white 85 cutlass that I swapped a rebuilt 455 and th400 trans into when I was a young man and got into all sorts of trouble with her.
Once again this is the sexiest car you have restomodded I love it so much. I just can't believe you chose the engine I wanted in the only non Ford cars I ever loved. Thank you for indulging me
G body's are some of the last full frame Performance car's which I love!! I had Grand Nationals, and Monte Carlo SS's in my collection. Great Build Tommy and as always your dry humor is the best. What size and offset Welds did you guys come up with? Thanks for all the shows guys.
One of these days, you guys at Power Nation need to build an Open Road Rally Racing car. Nevada, Texas, Nebraska. Flat out on a public highway, Legally!
Can't remember if you guys put any frame stiffeners on this but I wouldn't be surprised to see those t-tops shatter lol. I had an 80 olds cutlass running 415hp and about 400ft lbs torque and it would shatter the rear window when I took off. Had to let the window sit loose with out trim so it would survive. Squeaked alot lol

Yes. Idk why it happens, but it's not uncommon. Happened to me before. Stock buick 455 with 2.29 rear end and road tires went 9.1 at 78 mph, but with 3.50 gear and slicks, went 8.6 and slowed down a mph to 77. Guess it could be friction with the track or something.

Need to turn down all of the "CONSTANT" background music. so we can hear the sounds of the engines in the cars, after all isn't that what this channel is all about???????
Do us a solid please: it's a "strip", not a track. You took the Olds to drag a strip, not a track. It's a run, not a "lap". A lap or track have one line that is both the start and the finish line. Yep, I have an '84 Hurst waiting for restoration. Mine has the power moon roof- only 700 built that way.
That has to be a 1/8th mile track. Never ran on one of those
They are common around KY , Tenn. , WV and Va. cause of the mountains. Only 1/4 mile track around me that somewhat near is Bristol.
