Wow, I am very impressed that you can eat Thai food with the same level of spiciness as Thais do. Sticky rice and mango will cool down the heat in your mouth. Good combination. Welcome to Thailand!
YeaHOO!!!! One of the coolest and unique things to visit in all of Esaan for sure! Great way to build some hunger walking around all those staircases, and then GREAT way to reward yourselves afterwards (even a day later😛) you guys… maeNamFish wow💪🏽🙏🏽Superb day out!!!
Lol “of course I want some sticky rice”. That’s quite the cliff hanger at the end. I’m keeping you guys in my thoughts and hope all goes well with the visa. Another great video.
One of the most well-known elements of Phanom Rung Historical Park is a decorative lintel placed above the eastern entrance to the central sanctuary. It depicts a reclining Vishnu or Vishnu Anantasayin, and is known in Thai as Thap Lang Narai Banthomsin. The lintel is best known for its restitution from the Art Institute of Chicago where it was displayed for over twenty years (1967-1988). In early 1988, as restoration of the temple Phanom Rung neared completion, calls were made by several parties in Thailand for its return, even a Thai rock band name Carabao wrote a song called "Thaplang" which was about the theft of a holy Thai lintel, the Phra Narai, that later appeared in an American museum, and became the subject of Thai protests in order to regain the lintel. The song's chorus translates as "Take back Michael Jackson, give us back the Phra Narai! Finally, in October 1988, the museum agreed to repatriate the lintel in exchange for a donation. Wow, thank you for the history lesson, Dakala! You always have such interesting stuff to share with us. We definitely saw the stolen lintel that was displayed in a small building! What was hilarious to me at the time, after learning the story of its theft, was seeing it in a completely unsecured building with nobody guarding it, not even cameras 🤣
I know the Asian food is the best in the world , especially Korean Japanese Taiwanese Thai Chinese Singaporean and Hong Kong food , enjoy your Asian food

In my experience, the mouth builds tolerance, but the stomach does not 🤣 Thank you Mark!
The color alone makes it looks spicy! Good luck with the visa
Thanks Joel! It was certainly still spicy! Another checkmark on my Thailand restaurant bucket list 😋
