Is there a lot of foot traffic in the front of the patio of this room. I have this booked for Nov 2021, but wonder if it would be more advantageous to get a balcony in the Havana Suites for more privacy?
@@mrjay3047 We've had the Havana Cabana Suite twice, and the neighboring Havana Cabana rooms at least 4 times. We spend a lot of time on our balconies. Both the suites and the regular Havana Cabana rooms have the same balconies right next to each other. Same privacy. There is no difference. The minimal foot traffic you have is almost entirely from the occupants of these rooms and there are very few of them. You rarely see someone walking by. I know they have opened up the Havana pool area to the rest of the ship after a certain hour (around 5 or 7 pm I think). But I don't think many people knew it opened up to others because it was not crowded at all, even in the evenings. These patios and the pool area is just a few steps from each other and it's opened up (from the pool are to the Havana rooms). But it would be very awkward for those who are not occupying the rooms to walk in front of the balconies. I'm sure some may do it, but we didn't see an increase of traffic around our patio's. Additionally, there is a wall restricting access to your patio areas from regular room shipmates. The Havana pool area has to be accessed through sliding glass doors and you must have a special pass to be there (exception when they open it up to the rest of the ship in the evenings). We've had regular balcony rooms on Carnival many times. After having the Havana Cabana rooms it would be rare for us to book non-Havana Cabana now. They are worth the extra cost for the privacy, the large balconies, and the pool area, not to mention the nice stage and bar areas close by. Hope this helps.

How do u access the havana adult only area from your room? Seen a video there is a area on ship no kids are aloud
@SV Methos Basically your on the same deck as the bar and lounge area. its all on deck 5 aft. From your cabin you have a door that leads directly the inside passenger area. or you could walk out from your Havana cabana to the pool area that way. its a private area to only Havana guests til 7pm. after that it opens to everyone on board. during the day you have a wrist band you have to show to the pool attendants to be able to walk out and around the pool area.
Your room didn't have a swing? I thought all of the Havana Cabins did.
At the time of filming this they didn't have them installed because they needed to upgrade the bolt in the ceiling and then re install them.
