@@usy5475 he could have been one of the best wingers of his generation but yeah , lack of discipline , and when he finally got it he made some good things on Benfica but he was already too old to do what he did on the past , after 2/3 years on Benfica without playing because of bad behavior , but overall he was always a wonderful player and I had fun watching , he was entertaining and there are not that much of entertaining players this days as before and even if he didn’t turn out a TOP footballer , he surely was a joy to watch.
@froudy95 first warnock keeps playing him the middle when his better on the wing as proven n the championship, then the prem and the champ are really diffrent, in the championship you get space on the ball, where the in the prem you dnt get hardley any space on the ball because its so fast paced

Just watching the video will tell you as much, with his teammates complaining he never passes the ball, something you'd never have a problem with Zizou. Taraabt is an extremely skillful dribbler, that doesn't make him the next Zizou. Hell, he's probably more talented dribbling wise than Zidane, but outside of that they are nothing alike and he's still lightyears away.

Personally I see it as managers fucking him over because they didn't like his attitude. Didn't give him enough opportunities because of stubbornness, and a mix of his arrogance as well. One of those players you have to let do whatever they want. Which managers weren't allowing.
@@CraigFisherman We let Adel go because he was overweight, refused to cut weight or train. Who knows why he did it but he seemed to just give up on football. Man U offered us £25 million for him. We ended up selling him to Benfica for around £3 million where he very rapidly earnt his place training with reserves and under-21's. Wasted talent.
