for me, they're nerfed because old eros torch used to give free double attack and because of that, it scaled off attackspeed extremely well. like having 20% from hermes and 25% for not using your hex was essentially 100% attackspeed. they were mana hungey weapon but born gain is such an overpowered mana boon that it was irrelevant. whether you want zeus+hestia or Poseidon/Hestia were both extremely potent. What is more insulting is that Eros candled used to be a hammer called Dire candle, it was candle that turned your sticks omega attack in 1500 power move(it did around 1000 damage) and if you dashed back, it did 2000 damage. The new aspect is based off this hammer but it does pitful damage. Really, the only good build for torches now is running Hestia burn with Poseidon special to acquire their Duo steam boon. Candle of Eros is now rng based because you need roll the exact hammer you rolled in region 1 to turn the orb backwards then just spam special. Get chaos -cast time boon for charging specials(reroll for it). Kinda sad that there is no good ranged dps weapon now as this only good ranged dps weapon. Now it is just omega special spam weapon.
When you do special and omega special the lingering Ghost will mimic all the specials. It's so op with Poseidon.
Balanced the audio a bit differently so hopefully the game won't drown out my voice!

Is the run seeded? You picked and upgraded that first boon so fast
No I just usually check the first boon of the run then give up. If you give up a run the first boon will always be the same until you die or beat it!

how come you prefer not using arcana cards that allow you to re-roll rooms and boons?
Honestly just never messed with the Arcana too much. My next video I’ll be using it though!
