    I remeber having a problem with a Barron Volligar figure, the arms were very loose and wobbly, i contacted the 4H and sent them a video, they had me do some trouble shooting telling me to plug other arms into the torso to see if the arms were still loose and they were, after that they sent me a new torso and it was much better. Hopefully they can hook you up with a replacement part or parts. I haven't opened mine at all and am now afraid to though. I noticed that they do take forever for everything. They had an in stock sale about two weeks ago and it ended last Sunday, they haven't even shipped a single order yet and they put out a disclaimer that it would take weeks. The really need to improve because they will definitely lose the newer customer base and only have the ones that are blindly loyal to them

      I really appreciate your honest opinion here, it matters - like you, I love these figures and want to see them do good and continue to buy them - but it seems like they are growing huge in terms of what they are producing - but not growing in terms of staff and logistical things they should be investing in to actually make the process run smooth -- its like the same group of people that started from the bottom are now at the top, but choose to keep the little bit of workforce they always have had to keep profits high -- and that's not good for a lot of reasons, mainly the human factor and how hard it pushes workers - but everything about it - the customers not getting shit they ordered for months, sometimes even YEARS (like this figure in the video) and that's ridiculous - they will 100% loose support and only keep there blind followers - the replacement parts they sent me for my cosmic legions weren't even correct, and the 1 they did get correct didn't fix the problem either

      @@toy.blocks Man that really sucks that they sent you the wrong parts and didn't fix the problem, I been collecting legions since 2017 and i was a big fan of 4H but now I been noticed that their way of doing business sucks. Another major problem that they never seem to fix as well is the absurd and unreasonable shipping, it keeps getting worse and worse, and it's increased 3 times more than what it used to be! Then I started noticing people having more problems with figures, people's cosmic scorpion ladies neck peg breaking, ogre scale figures breaking at the foot, thrace's arms breaking, the Genie's arms popping off and most ppl who voice concerns get criticized by super fans in the cabal and are usually silenced. With the wait time, the shipping, and the QC i am super frustrated at this point and also frustrated for the people new to the line because they are not getting the good quality and affordability there once was. You would think that with the asinine wait time on pre-orders, you would get a next-to-perfect item due to the time it took, and assume they were able to work out the kinks and problems, but that does not seem to be the case. In all the years of collecting mythic legions, they never seem to improve or even attempt to improve the wait time in waves, people often make up excuses for them saying stuff like "new tooling" but even waves that required little to no new tooling like the older all star waves still took more than a year. Plus with the in-stock sales now taking way to long to ship it's ridiculous and 4H seems to not care at all, they are too concerned with attending conventions and selling more products while putting customers who paid in advance on the backburners. It's kind of like a big "FU" to the fans, like hey "we took your money but, we will not ship your Instock stuff till a month or so and we will not bother with streamlining the process of pre orders because we are busy with conventions". I am very glad to see your video and finally see someone who is transparent and not afraid to point out issues and honest, unlike the cult-like apologetics who seem to be bought out.

    Just want to share that I had no problems with mine, I think their QC issues only occurs in a small sample size.

    My mages came all wobbely. Never had that before. Something is not tuned in right yet with their new factories. They mages have some serious issues just "standing".

      Also about the newer figues with the thicker shields - they do not make any sense cause the arm falls down holding it. Same with some heavier weapons.

      i seen a post just yesterday of one of the 4HM over in china going over factory stuff so hopefully its all honest and for the best and not just smiles, hugs, and pats on the back

    A quick easy fix for this is to simply put a very small bit of paper over the hole, then peg the arm in. The paper gives it more grip & tightens it up significantly. Another great way to easily fix this is to heat up the holes that the arms plug into, then plug the arms in deep, then immediately submerge the figure into ice cold water. The heat will allow the hole to adapt to the shape of the peg and the cold water plunge solidifies the new shape, thus tightening the arm.
    I have this figure & it doesn't have loose arms at all but i also have the blue djinn (same brute scale buck repainted), which does have one loose arm. I used the paper trick and his never comes out anymore.
    Hope this helps someone!

      thanks for the post and the help for fixing this -- people shouldnt have to fix a brand new 60 dollar figure tho, and if you gotta wait 2 years you would think they are fixing any of the problems the same body had previously (like yours you had mentioned) and they didn't --- there is something obviously wrong here and they know about it but are not addressing it -- and most of the youtubers they have on here would never say anything bad about there figures, even if it helped them - just a bunch of yes men - and its sad - but I'm not that - i'm going to call them out on it -- If i was the guy who sculpted this, or painted it (extremely beautiful work) I would be really mad at whoever was in charge of QC and fixing figure problems in future releases

      You can try adding nail polish to the ball joints. Once dry, it should tighten things up. Easy fix. I did that to my Arethyr.

    I have a lot of thoughts about four horsemen, so I’m going to start with what I love. They were half the people who made my favorite line of all time (DCUC), and their sculpts are still incredible to this day. They’re some of the best sculptors in the game. But their articulation feels really outdated to me. By now, with how far they’re into their lines, these figures should have double joints, better swivels, all, or hell, even half of all the good stuff we got. And their QC is pretty poopy. Their customer service is incredible, but when almost every figure is shipped to you either super tight, or super loose, the customer service isn’t important. If this was a few years ago when they were still a pretty small company, I’d let this all slide, but now they’ve become pretty damn big, especially for domestic collectors, so they really need to start improving.
    Rant over. Of course, that’s how I personally feel about it. I know tons of people love their stuff, I just think it has a lot more potential they’re not fulfilling.

    I have this figure and don't have any problems on the arms at all. I have him holding a metal spear from AE which can tip the entire figure with its weight, and even then the arms stay strong. Your criticisms are valid and it is a shame that your particular figure has this issue but engaging in conspiracy theories that all the figures have the same problem and other reviewers are just covering it up is a bit irresponsible in my opinion. Contact 4 Horsemen and let them know of the issue and see what they say before assuming they don't care because their successful. Just my opinion, cheers!

      Thank you for watching and your feedback, Im glad your figure came in good shape - it seems like my 2 wizards did, but this orc and the blue dragon have huge issues - and its not a theory that these other guys are pushing figures because they get them for free, huge discounts, or get "reviews samples" -- that's just a fact, and I been buying these figures since the early days and I know they have a hardcore loyalist following that will always defend everything 4hm does - and sorry, I'm not any of that - I pay for all my figures and I tell it how it is - I did reach out to 4hm too and they asked me to take a picture because that will somehow help them - my last ordered needed new parts also - and 6 months later they didn't even send the correct parts - this company is shitting out figures left and right month after month now when before - they took months and months to announce new waves, they are over producing now like they are Hasbro - the quality has dropped greatly, and even right now they spam instagram trying to push there "in stock sale" -- and no one is buying, they should have produced more of the new knight figures instead, but Im sure that figure has issues too none of there YT minions are reporting on

      @@toy.blocks I was not contesting the fact that other youtubers get the figures for free, but that they hide issues with the figures on purpose, but I guess you completely missed the point. Yes, they do provide more variety of figures now than before because they have more money and resources and the demand is there. I also disagree that they should focus on making more valiant knight figures instead of providing and having available a bigger variety of different characters.The parts on that figure will be available in many releases this year, its not like it is a super exclusive thing no one will have access to anymore.

    • @toy.blocks
      @toy.blocks  4 місяці тому

      I didn't miss that point at all - the influence companies have over people who review there product for "free" is obvious in so many channels its not even funny - at least in my own opinion - but hey, if you wanna buy a figure from the guy who PRAISES every figure he gets from the same company for free, go ahead - whos to tell you that your wrong? Not me - but I gotta let people know my point of view and how I feel towards that situation regardless, to many of them I'm sure its not so much as "hding" the problems from people, just turning a blind eye to them on purpose, IN MY HONEST HUMBLE OPINION of course, but either way - thanks for the post and discussion here - I look foward to all the bucks have the best of the new knight build and I hope they work and don't fall apart.

    The mythic legions line should have better quality, the wings and small arms of the Cosmic Legions insects fall off and it is impossible to place them, the vampire Vargg has the same problem, wings that do not stay in place

    I agree, I think its weird with mythic legions that alot of reviews are super neutral when it comes to the figures. I noticed that alot of toy reviewers are doing that now, where they refuse to comment on any negatives or issues. I stopped watching alot of these guys for this fact.

    • @toy.blocks
      @toy.blocks  4 місяці тому

      They are just too afraid to mention things that are obviously wrong with a figure when they encounter it and it hurts everyone -- I'm still buying the figures, I'm still supporting - but the fact is, if no one talks about waiting 2 years for a figure that shipped out like this - the arms just falling out -- then you know somethings wrong, shit isn't a conspiracy - it's just a fact people are chasing clout not truth these days.
