Mythic Legions - Azahazzar - Action Figure Review

- The mighty Demon King Azahazzar from the Poxxus wave is up for review!
Released as a Ogre scale figure, Azahazzar stands just above 10 inches tall, scaling with other mythic legions, to truly show the presence of this demon king.
With an amazing sculpt with details such as leathery skin, and muscles, Azahazzar has a unique secret effect, the green seen throughout the cracks on his face and body is UV reactive paint! It gives off a bright green glow whenever a black light is used.
And just like the rest of the figures from the Poxxus wave, we have a mix of accessories both using clear plastic effects, and cloth goods that really make the figure stand out from previous waves.
More important as a lore character, Azahazzar has only been briefly mentioned in a few character bios, mostly referencing from Azhar, and Zazhar's former form. I think its great that Four Horsemen can expand on the lore to give us background characters like this that were only a thought, but now made into a real character.
For the accessories we get a pair of flaming demonic hand effects, and a very large staff, unfortunately these ogre figures don't have the best range of articulation.
The posing value of such large figures like these usually come from the towering presence they have within your collection, they simply stand out on their own with the massive size difference, that dynamic poses aren't really too much of an issue.
Overall another great figure from the Poxxus wave, If you have the space in your collection for such a large figure, hes definitely worth checking out! Demonic figures are always a rare find in the action figure world, so i really do appreciate these figure releases!

Mythic Legions “Ogre-Sized” figures are getting to be real favorites of mine. Such great quality and, although they’re still expensive, i think the price point is much closer to reality than the smaller figures.
I only wish they came with more accessories!

just doing a bit of head cannon here, this guy kind of makes me feel that if the four evil factions ever come to blow with one another, Poxxus is going to be the winning side because he's got this guy on his side, ROFL
exactly what i was thinking! the ability to instantly create life of death with a single touch? i guess all the good guys are playing extreme tag with this demon. Also Rip Xarria, her plans will never come true now lol
Yeah, just imagine what happens when he touches a vampire or, a skeleton... He can single handedly mess up those two factions, and with a majority of Erethyr's force is demonic, this demon king can probably just command them to switch side lol.@@Glasseater

still waiting for mine to arrive. Great review as usual. Now I'm really looking forward to it. I really kicked myself for not picking up the two individual demons, but then when they announced this one, I am now glad I didn't pick them up because I think I'll always display them in this combined form.

Unfortunately i don't have that character, but all ogre scale figures use the same legs, and body, so the only height difference would be the head sculpt, as seen with the ogre scale Agremedes at 6:46 in the review.
It’s good figure. Does it feel more like a neca, storm, joy toy, or mcfarlane? I don’t have mythical legions.
oh, that's a tough question, both McFarlane and NECA have slices in the sculpt for the joints, you don't have that at all with Mythic Legions, Joy Toy would probably be closer to feel, but Mythic legions are closer to 7 inches, are feel much more chunky. Also Mythic Legions are completely modular, so every body part can be taken off and swapped with other figures. It definitely has its own unique feel.
