A couple of weeks ago, I was challenged on Facebook to do one of those "Post 10 images (1 per Day)..." kind of things and it was albums which greatly influenced my musical taste. It did get me thinking and reminiscing about the songs I learned in the early days and Oasis were a massive influence. They were my idols.
I can still hear this influence when I listen back to songs I write. That's quite an embedded style, given that I haven't listened to Oasis heavily for years.
Anyway, here's an acoustic cover of "The Masterplan", one of my favourite Noel Gallagher songs.

I've been learning to play this, and noticed Noel leaves a word out thats not in the original lyrics. The part...'you know their gonna go which way they wanna go All we know is that we don't know'..he leaves out the word All. I've tried singing it with the word in and it don't work, but doesn't make sense without it...so he sings We know is that we don't know lol. Could you confirm that mate as you do the same.

Thanks for getting in touch and for pointing this out. I've never really paid the lyrics that much attention, I have to be honest. I've been playing this song since I was 13 or 14 and, at that point, very few Oasis lyrics made much sense to me so I just sang them how I thought they sounded. But yeah, I do leave the word "all" out as the words "go" and "all" would have to fit into the same syllable otherwise.
