Well the RCF H 4827 the UEAJs use do a good job. Of course, It's also about the drivers, and other hardware you use, but there were never any complains about the sound from these. Downside is, like I said, the plastic can get damaged pretty fast, and the loudspeakers are therefore more prone to wear due to weather conditions.

It was most likely caused by an acoustic switch fault.

Other AJSN/TESLA sirens.
Why did it stop during the windup?
The accumulators didn't hold enough charge for the wind up, so the siren automatically stopped and then resumed once they got charged.
