Holland - Clinton meets EU leaders

US President Bill Clinton and EU leaders met on Wednesday (28/5) in The Hague for an EU-US summit which will be dominated by commemorations of the US-funded Marshall Plan that helped rebuild Europe after World War II.
Upon arrival in the Hague he met Dutch Prime Minister Wim Kok, current president of the 15-nation European Union, and the president of the EU's executive arm, Jacques Santer, to discuss a deal which would expand European-US trade.
