Dev skips are super important if you want highly creative games from average skill gamers. The pool of high skill gamers who are also high skill devs is really low. Even so, they've certainly got to do a better job of hiding the skips.

I like to pause this video precisely at 11:29 just to enjoy Ryu's face in moment when Ryu realizes he can reverse troll the creator and cheese the crap out of this level.
That's not a softlock. Locking up is when a program (like a game) freezes up and stops responding, and a softlock is where it's basically that situation, it's stuck, but the program/game is still running. Like when you're stuck, can't go forward or back, and you can't even die, you just have to reset.
It's a margin that's there. Some people are just trolls for lols and will make the idiotic levels with the dev skips. Some intend it - others just want lolz. Heck, some actually just want to help the lesser skilled out , or just for the purpose of sheer discovery (an easter egg let's say) But it is true, the 'good' levels with dev skips are rare, usually they'll be dirty tr0ll ones to just waste people's time. But the worst sort of levels are the ones where there are NO dev skips but the whole gig is 'pick a pipe' RNG. They're the worst of $cum xD

It's okay if you aren't a good player, just don't make hard levels then unless you're willing to put in the time to learn how to clear them. Anyone that finds your level online is going to consider you a bad level designer if you resort to dev exits, dev blocks, or dev stars. You can be a good level designer with easier levels so just giving you some advice before you get yourself a reputation as a bad level designer (if your levels even get noticed, though there's just as much chance people will completely ignore your levels if you do that stuff, and people definitely will avoid starring your levels as soon as they realize you have that in one of your levels). I wish you luck nonetheless and hope you consider that advice, you definitely could make some aesthetically pleasing easier levels if you try, just don't rely on dev exits.

It’s a double troll door because when you go in it at the beginning it trolls you by being a fake way to the end but at the end it’s also a troll because if you didn’t go in at the beginning and hit the Kaizo blocks then you would fall down there and go back to the beginning
What if s called double troll because the door trolls you into seeing that you cant reach the checkpoint that way, but the second troll to the door is that you actually “troll” the lvl by using the bomb. Anyone think this?
