      Disagree...McCants is being real. Clutch would never represent a player averaging 4 points a game in college coming out first year. They are setting up Bronny for failure and heavy scrutinizing. He is not good by NBA draft standards. He is a mediocre college player at best

    Giving your son access to a gym, sneakers, training and your knowledge as a former player is way different than literally putting your son on an NBA team. • @lreez977
      @lreez977 4 місяці тому

      How are they proving his point? He’s saying that he wants his kid to struggle like he did, they’re saying if their kid wants to get to the league they’re gonna do their best to set him up to be in the best position to get there.
      That’s exactly what Bron is doing. Bronny may not be “ready for the league” but he’s ready enough for teams to entertain him relative to this draft class, so the calculus is to take the gamble.
      Why sit in college to “develop” and risk being in a draft class that is stronger and you still go overlooked because even though you’re better you’re not relatively better and/or certain teams may not entertain your style of play.
      Life is about seizing opportunities and Bronny’s team (agents, advisors, etc) who he has access through his dad has calculated that this is likely the best chance he has at making the league.
      Everyone but McCants sees this.

    Nepotism is everywhere in the world but the place you want to see it the least is in sports. Sports is supposed to be the place where talent and effort speaks the loudest. This Bronny story is sad.
    I hope Bronny proves me wrong but it doesn't look like he will be selected because he is talented. It looks like he will be picked for other reasons. An actually talented person is going to be losing out because he doesn't have a dad that can get him a spot.

    Truth is it's so hard to get to the NBA Ind don't think it can be easy either way. KMART SPEAKING THE TRUTH... it's like if a guy is hustling and struggling growing up and he make it out and be successful, is he supposed to take his child through all the struggles he went through? That's a mentality that has held us back. It's like the rappers making it then becoming gang members, totally backwards. Hell if it was all about being privileged and getting in the NBA easy, where are are Jordan's boys?

    If bol bol who has low basketball IQ with deer lights can play low minutes on the suns Bronny can learn for a few years with the guards there and contribute to a few minutes once he ready

    The most real, and truthfull thing mccants has ever said is "if you want to be good at this game, watch the greats" without including his own name and saying he wouldnt give his son anything to succeed in the nba.

    For most of my 42 years, I typically would see it the way Rashad does... After witnessing years of unchallenged nepotism and cronyism in Corporate America, nowadays I think everyone should get it however they can.

    What Rashad is not understanding is that no system in this world is fair. It's not gonna start being fair with Bronny. Brothers who think this fair thing needs to chill.
    When I started moving up in the ranks, my previous Commander texted me, "Favor ain't fair." HaleluYah!
