    I like your hair Jasmine 😊
    People would be shocked at how expensive prices can be.
    You exchange currency and think you have a lot but if your not careful your wallet will get empty quickly.
    I started to eat more from vendors than restaurants.

    • @kofow483

      @danny1460 I was surprised at the prices in ShopRite. I only bought water, beer and take out food from there.
      Whenever we go back to Ghana my parents avoid ShopRite.
      Were from Kumasi originally and its much cheaper there than Accra.
      I like the outdoor markets better. You can get a ton of food and items for your money.

      But directly from small vendors. It is cheaper , more organic and fresh . Buying in those big cooperations , it will cost u more and their food is not 100% organic mostly GMO food. Also they will make the small vendors to go out of business which is not good . It’s a win win if u buy from small vendors and u can create connections with them to always delivery in your home .

    At the end of the day eating out should remain just a treat no matter where you live. 😁

    First and foremost...
    It's the hair, popping yellow top and the melanin forrrr meeeeee😍👸🏾
    Okay now for the food: The prices aren't bad at all and they are full meals that'll certainly get you full; but it sure will add up if you eat out everyday, 3 times a day.
    Bottom line, nothing truly beats cooking at home. The treats of eating out are good for once in a while🤗

    People commenting that these prices are good compared to the West ,remember Ghanaians do not earn Western income !The GDP per capita in Ghana is $2300/year about $200 /month . GDP per capita US $65,000. Before anyone starts to question me I am Nigerian and when I was l was working in Nigeria with a masters I was earning about $800/month.

    • @myrtisallotey8928

      Exactly, it's ridiculous to compare to western prices considering the income. I just returned from Ghana and Malawi. What is shockingly high is gas and taxi fares.

      And what is Nigeria’s GDP per capita? My point is some Ghanaians earn 1,000$ a month…nothing to do with GDP.

      @@mrw1762 And some Americans earn $400,000 , one million , and more .GDP is what the majority earn. Only 10%of Americans earn more than $100,000/year. Yes someone in Ghana can earn $1000 but not the majority! What percentage of Ghanaians earn that amount?

    • @mrw1762
      @mrw1762 3 роки тому

      @@josephbrown1573 Go back to how you originally framed your assumption. You had to quote what you personally earned while comparing the 2019 average calculated earnings of Ghanaians as a whole. What's the point of that?

    • @josephbrown1573
      @josephbrown1573 3 роки тому +2

      @@mrw1762 What do you mean? I was quoting my salary which is obviously above average for Nigeria as the GDP there is $2500.The fact is that the average person in West Africa regardless of country makes about $200/ month.
