Thanks Will. I have found them more time consuming than anything. Once you get a routine for doing them they are not so difficult, just more of a nuisance. We should go back to how they were designed to be used, left up, and if you wanted to use the bridge you had to lower it

Another lovely video . I never thought of single boaters and these bridges before. It’s not easy to do on your own, some lovely scenery too.
They are a bit of a pain, but doable. Some think they are not.

swing bridges next trevor👍? I've just come back from Leeds after doing the Leeds and Liverpool singlehanded lots of swing bridges wasn't very easy...
