We built our Tranquility Deluxe (10 x 14 Pond) in this small backyard. Maria wanted it positioned right next to her deck so she could enjoy the sound of the waterfall every morning with her cup of coffee!

Atlantis Water Gardens is located at 3017 Route 10 in Denville (Morris County), NJ (New Jersey) with a full pond supply store and specializes in the design, maintenance and construction of backyard fish ponds, boulder waterfalls, fountainscapes, decorative water features, natural looking ponds, koi fish ponds and outdoor goldfish ponds for backyard landscapes.
This is my pond and I can't tell you all how thrilled I am with it. It is my happy place! Jaak and the crew turned an ugly duckling into a swan. My only regret is that it rained and rained after the build and I couldn't get in the reveal to show you how over the moon I am about this wonderful idyll!

A really great job you did there.
A bit more planting I think that could make it much more inviting and friendly which could help in bringing some relaxation emotions like the feeling that we are in the real mountain spring.

Hi, do you put overliner at the bottom of the pond? I want to use pebble at the bottom. Thanks
We use a layer of underlayment, then a layer of 45 mil EPDM rubber liner, and if we're going to use big boulders we'll add another layer of underlayment just to be safe. Pebble bottom would be fine with just the liner.
Great job as always! But I was thinking...this garden is so close to the road with no barrier or fence, isn't there any regulations for ponds about fencing it in to avoid kids falling in? Swimmingpools have a lot of regulations but of course small kids could drown in a pond as well.
I'll give the homeowner "E" for effort but, IMHO, her pond was a 'stick picture' compared to y'alls 'Picasso!'

@@AtlantisWaterGardens Actually I wanna build one pond for myself. I'm from India and where I live it rains for 4 months and there frequent power cuts. So what will happen if it rains heavy and there's no power.
