Hi, I got my Riley doll yesterday. I love her too. I was wondering if Emma has a flaw on top of her left foot. The dolly daze site, her Madison ( which is a Riley sculpt also has a flaw on her foot. Please let me know. Thanks, take care
Yes, that is just how silicone babies are, if there is any kind of bubble in the mold itself you will get this in every pour. There are a lot of flaws with all reborns as they are art, but especially silicone dolls. There is absolutely no way to pour and pull a PERFECT mold. The difference between this specific silicone artist and other silicone artist is other artist get paid thousands of dollars more for their dolls so they will work to fix all of those small flaws in the silicone and take that extra time to repair those small flaws and even them out. This artist is selling her silicone dolls dirt cheap as low as she can possibly go to make it more affordable. She does not take the time to correct the pourspouts or the bubbles or the tears or any other flaw in the silicone. That’s why you’re getting such a great price. She does very minimal painting does absolutely no rooting, does not do box opening etc.
