I have given lots of babies to kids and to people with altimeters. I love to watch how their faces change when they know they have someone to take care of and love and to love and need them. Oh my gosh I got the same Berenguer Doll for Christmas and I love her. I can't wait to see how you reborn yours. Great video and she is adorable in that sleeper. As far as the letter goes some people have a lot of nerve. It's bad enough that she wants you to give her one of your works of art that you put a lot of work, time, and love into, she wants it to be a silicone is out and out crazy. I do want to thank you for supporting Alzimers because my husband has it. I have a Ashton Drake doll "Noah" and my husband loves that baby. It's his doll. It's and interactive Doll that says DaDa and looks at him. Have a great day.
I love this sooooo much!!! Yes, these dolls have help a lot of my patients both male and female. A lot of my male patients loved the boy babies because they remind them of their sons and grandchildren as babies, they also seemed to love stuffed dogs too! 💙 🐶 💙

Yes silicone baby doll are expensive depending on if it has a drink and wet system and no one will give any one a free silicone baby doll so who ever had reached out to misty is wrong and need to know that ok

She's so adorable!!! And I see mostly kids (adults too) but mostly kids go on reborn channel comments asking for free dolls. I'm not a reborn artist but it annoys me. I can't imagine how much it annoys you being a reborn artist. Yes, gifting is totally different than giving a doll away for free. The internet calls these people choosing beggers.

So I am sure she is having a good life with this lady's family now . She might still turn up or come back to me. Funny things happen when not expected . So I have been watching the sale sites or I will get a new vintage one someday . Wal-Mart ad showed one on my FB page today. Lol .

Wow! That is scary stalkerish!!! This is definitely my biggest pet peeve in the reborn community! About six years after I started reborning I was contacted by somebody who was losing their child to cancer and all she wanted for Christmas was a reborn doll. Given the circumstances I didn’t even think twice about it! I made an absolutely beautiful doll! When I went to drop the baby off, mother said that child was too sick to have any company whatsoever and I understood. I just asked her to please send me a picture of her child opening the doll if she could. I heard from her a couple days later thanking me for making her last xmas the best one! Three weeks later I found it for sale on eBay for twice as much as I sell my dolls for. I called children’s and asked for the call to be transferred to the childs room. No such patient was or had been recently admitted/discharged. I’ve been started college funeral homes nobody with that name had recently passed away. So, I contacted eBay and let them know it was stolen good that was never intended to be sold. I did hear from mother one last time after that saying she would just put it on eBay later and I better stay out of her business or there was going to be trouble. I just dropped the subject, realized I’ve been scammed, and vowed never to let it happen again! One thing I can promise people is if they ask me my free doll they will never get one no I will they be allowed on my channel. I don’t know why some people have such a hard time understanding that it just because you can’t afford one it’s OK to ask someone you don’t know for a free doll. You wouldn’t walk up to a stranger in a parking lot and tell them about all of your woes and how sick you are and ask them just to please give you the keys to their car and let you have it. You certainly wouldn’t ask somebody for their wedding ring or for the most part any other expensive item. After being totally scammed though with a gut wrenching story I no longer longer give those away or even make most slightly reduced cost memory babies unless the request is initiated by a healthcare professional and gives me tangible proof the request is legitimate. I donate quite a few babies places but it is completely on my own accord when I feel like it. I do think it is good to have discussions like this often on however simply because people are less apt to ask if they know they will be immediately blocked!

@@KitstoKradlesNursery yes it’s very sad because a few bad eggs can poison the whole bunch! Live and learn, the good thing about having a few videos of this sort is to show people exactly why they aren’t going to be handed a free doll just because they want one. There are a ton of reborn giveaways here on UA-cam and my best advice to the woman who wrote you or anyone else thinking of wanting a free reborn is to subscribe, to watch all the videos, leave them comments, enter giveaways and hope someday you win one!

Omg cuteness overload!! I know how you feel about people wanting you to give your babies for free I crochet and people ask me to make stuff for them for free and get mad when I say no. I made the mistake of making some stuff for this lady told her how much remind you this I gave her a discount because she was a coworker. I changed her $75 when it should have been more. I never got my money for the stuff and she still has the nerve to ask me to make her something I tell her no I am working on a order that has already been paid for. I can gifting for a friend or a gift for just being kind. I don’t think people know how much work you put into the work you do it’s time, it’s money, and it’s not easy at times. I even have a order that hasn’t even been picked up and paid for smh 🤦♀️ sometimes it makes you want to stop your hobbies but I keep on crocheting
Awwwwww yes, its hard dealing with the general public sometimes. I really hate it when someone takes up hours of your time asking questions and then had no intention to buy in the first place. Time wasters are very frustrating too!

I use boy outfits for my girls and just use a headband for it to make it look girly and my boys have pink and purple stuff
I've been collecting/reborning my babies since around 2004. the first 4-5 reborns i had were berenguer sculpts. I still have my first berenguer reborn that i ever bought.

i love blue too. Once i dressed one of my daughter's in a blue romper white dots and a little pink roses when she was a baby. All day people kept commenting on my adorable baby boy! i was like she's a girl! look the outfit has roses LOL!
Oh my laaaaawd some people!!! That’s okay, my daughter was bald for the first year and I had her dressed in a floral dress with bloomers and in a pink frilly stroller and she even had pierced ears, people still thought she was a boy!!! Her name was also Kiya and people thought I was calling her Kyle!!! Lol 😂

Hey. I've always been border line obsessed with baby dolls. As a kid growing up below the poverty line (poor) I didn't get a many dolls. I would save b-day money and clean houses or do yard work for friends of family. All for mostly new dolls. I would Never ask anyone for a free anything. Not even as a child.
I was in the same boat as you in my childhood, we had nothing! I started babysitting kids in my apartment complex after school when I was 9 yrs. old! I always looked out for the younger ones, I guess I wanted younger siblings. But, I would even get paid a dollar an hour just to keep an eye on them outside for their parents for a while on the weekends. We lived in a pretty bad neighborhood so.... I would save for dolls and buy them from K mart or Toys R US. My mom always got us one gift for Christmas and we could ask for anything but it was one gift and she made sure we got that one thing. Mine was always a Cabbage Patch Kid for the longest time. 😊

When people go on long tangents about how much their life sucks and then ask for something free I always believe they're lying about what they said and may even be a habitual liar. That's one way people get this far in life not learning to not ask for free stuff. They learn emotional manipulation can get them what they want. But I might just be jaded lol I'm too young to be this jaded, I'm only 24!
