I enjoyed the movie, and one of things I liked about it was the whole psychological aspect of the character. Here, it was more than just Bruce Banner gets hit with gamma rays and becomes The Hulk. Instead, his becoming The Hulk was the end result of a chain of events. To me, Bana's performance as Bruce Banner was perfect, showing someone who was completely repressed. This made his transformation into The Hulk more striking.
I liked the film, my parents being marvel fans in their ways like the MCU as they like the story behind it, but I like everything when it comes to marvel for example the MCU story, and this version of the hulk story and my most favourite the raini spider man trilogy which even though I like all 3 Tobey remains my most favourite spider man to this day, but going back on hulk this film shows what the origin of hulk was, it shows what hulk was and is always meant to be a human who gradually grows out of his clothes in anger as he builds up muscle while he turns green in anger and he always remains angry and wants more, not some green guy with glasses and yoga pants who was once something
The final fight was underwhelming, he fought a cloud... that is what ruined to me

The slideshow effect was one of the most stupid things ever
I respect the ambition, but it can get distracting lol

They should have pay attention to his comic book we need practical effect animatronic Hulk and we need Rick Jones and gamma bomb Leonard doc Samson who help Bruce Banner psychotic stuff we abomination and leader and better director and we comic book writer hulk needs to look like Frankenstein Jack Kirby for the gray hulk and sal buscema Green hulk

this film was never bad its acc my fav version of hulk n always will b n u can never convince me this film was bad it might not b to YOUR taste but it was never a bad film correct urself next time before u shit on ang lee
not well remembered there are scenes in this film burned into my memory like when he breaks a fucking hulk dogs jaw by flexing his fkn trap muscles please please please stop expecting ur opinion to b the standard norm that everyone agrees with how many vids can u find of people loving this vid and ofc the action parts r more exiting then character moments your opinion on this film is not well thought out or explained please next time keep your silly opinion to urself its like u dont know this is a hulk film n ang lee wanted to concentrate on the mental problems and challenges rather then make it another normal boring superhero movie just because he went ina different creative style u can maybe say u didn't like that but to say what ur saying just dont add up bruce u said its not well remembered at around 20 seconds in but at 420 u say there's memorable scenes hypocritical much ? and omfg he doesn't get bigger over time gets bigger the angrier he gets the fact that u said u like the comic style of scene change just tells me everything i need to know about u coz that is agreed to be the worst thing about the movie even tho i also dont rly mind it coz its a comic movie basically PLEASE FACT CHECK NEXT TIME
This version of the Hulk is pretty good and is probably one of the best ones ever.
I think the reason why it failed is mainly due to having it advertised as an action-packed, all-powerful hulk.

The story that's about bruce Banners childhood trama (I'll link a video that explains it perfectly), which wasn't something that people really wanted, and wasn't something shown in the advertisements.
