I hear very little beauty in jazz. It’s something most jazzers never consider. This is beautiful. Thanks for posting this wonderful musician.
There is a lot of beauty all around but - surprise : you have to look for it and be prepared...
Unfortunately, there currently exists an under-appreciation for ballads. I have this instructional tape as well. I have been a fan of his since mid-60's.
Bro check out Joe Pass, Ted Greene, Lenny Breau, and Tal Farlow.
Have this on VHS, glad to see it here. It's a wonderful video. Jim was such a humble man and so very musical.
So tasteful!!!
Steve Laspina on bass.
un délice
I love the save at 2:33
Elegant

Obrigada
Any idea how to find a lead sheet for this tune? Much obliged.
There's a transcription in the book "Jim Hall Jazz Guitar Environments" fro Hal Leonard
Chissà perché si chiama Three??!
Wtf how was L. G here? 17 years old?
This was recorded around 1993 (if it's the "Master Sessions" video that I think it is), so Larry would have been about 25.
